Anybody starting to get excited? Two more Saturdays!

Yes!!! Can't believe that 2 weeks from tonight we will be strolling on deck4 after finishing a nice meal! DH and I picked up a few adult beverages this evening and packed them in our carry-on. Still need to pack everything else.

We have our hotel booked and car parking reserved. We are also excited about meeting up with some friends for dinner the night before. We lived in the area for 5 years till last summer and we are looking forward to meeting up with them too

Does anybody know if we are having both a formal and semiformal night?? I saw somewhere that this cruise has a dressy night only. What is dressy?? I'm going OCD!!!!

Is anyone doing their own excursions?

For Grand Caymans, we may just take a bus or taxi to Seven Mile Beach or Smith Cove.


But I don't know what to do for Cozumel. We may do Playa Mia (sp?) but it's a little too pricey in my opinion.

Would love to hear everyone's plans for excursions!

Per DCL site, Disney defines 'dressy' as follows:

formal wear for men: tuxedo or suit; for women: gown or dress;
semi-formal wear for men: suit/jacket; for women: dress or pantsuit.​

We are doing the Moby Dick Tour to Stingray City. They are able to drop off at Seven Mile Beach. They were very helpful and responded to my every email! They said they had a few from our cruise booked on this tour. They also said they have plenty of space.
For Cozumel we booked through DCL the Fury Catamaran snorkel and beach party. Someone told me that is a fun excursion.
Can't wait!!!!!

I hope everyone had as fabulous time as we did! Weather was absolutely perfect and we loved the ports! Went snuba in both and in Cozumel, we got to scuba too!

Sorry we missed the meet and greet. We started unpacking and before we knew it, it was time for the drill. But we did run into a couple of y'all and it was nice meeting y'all . And thanks everyone for the FE gifts!!!

We booked a dummy on board but as of now, our next scheduled DCL is October of 2014 for the southern caribbean. Would love to cruise out of Galveston again but just don't think that can happen :-(

We had such a great time for our first Disney cruise! From start to finish, everything was fantastic! Loved our room, host, servers, kids club counselors, shows, food, and the fact that we were able to watch Iron Man 3 - 3 times was the cherry on top! We loved the beaches on the Cayman Islands and shopping at Cozumel. Palo was fantastic as well as our server Mirko - so nice and pleasant! We will miss our main dining servers - Hart and Erwin dearly. We also rebooked our next cruise for Dec 2013 out of Galveston! So sad that Disney is leaving Galveston and hope that there's a chance of them changing their mind to stay for 2015! Thinking about doing a trip report for this amazing trip!
