I saw on the POP boards that they switched a little while back. Don't know about other resorts.
Fabulous. There's hope! My mug will gets lots of use. Not sleeping in this eyar, have way too many early things. DH isn't ecstatic, but... haha
Unless they have recently changed them they have had the same mug for apprx two or three yrs now the beach scene in black n pink n blue! We were there in the end of Feb and they were still the same mug as I described just an fyi .
Read the FAQ and back a few pages, but nothing on the RFID mugs? The ones that limit your drink intake per meal period? We may be doing a split stay.

Do they really still have the yellow ones? I thought they were discontinued. I would like to get a yellow one on my trip in May if they still have them.
Has anyone seen yellow lately?
Ugh, we have a lot of the current "Pool Scene" mugs from our last 3 trips. Of the 4 generations I have it's my least favorite design. I feel like it's been a couple of years since the last change (2011?) isn't it about time for a new design? I feel like they used to be updated every year-ish... or is that just wishful thinking on my part?
Here's hoping it gets updated before our SWW trip next month!

In the past the mug has been updated every two years. The current design was introduced in early 2011, so it's definitely time for an update. I have a feeling we won't see anything new till early next year.
That's my thinking too, though I did hear an alternate explanation from a CM at Pop earlier this month... I'm not putting much stock in it, because we all know how well-informed lower-level cast tend to be and this came from a woman wiping down the mug station in the food court, which is why I didn't pop right over to share. According to this particular unreliable source, we won't see a new mug until they roll-out RFID machines property-wide. I thought the test at the All Stars was more or less a failure but with the rest of the RFID roll-out I suppose anything is possible.
Of course, if they do the RFID mugs they'll never have to change the design again because they'll have an alternate way of policing old mug use. For that reason alone I hope it doesn't come to pass.
Well, everything else is going to RFID, so why not mugs? I bet the chip will not be in the mug, but you'll use you KTTW or band.
