Does anyone know if they switched out Nescafe for Joffrey's yet?

I saw on the POP boards that they switched a little while back. Don't know about other resorts.

Oh, I've never had a mug. I meant the coffee! Read a few posts back, we're hoping that the Nescafe is out of resorts, and the Joffreys is in. :)
Thank you though. :)

Read the FAQ and back a few pages, but nothing on the RFID mugs? The ones that limit your drink intake per meal period? We may be doing a split stay.

I've seen a lot of people say that the current mug is a beach scene. Take a closer look at your mug, they're at a pool not a beach.

Does anyone know what the current mug is at Hilton Head? I have 6 of the pool/beach scene and would love a new mug in August at Hilton Head.

They were tested at All Star Sports in late 2011 through early 2012. That's as far as they've gone with it.

Do they really still have the yellow ones? I thought they were discontinued. I would like to get a yellow one on my trip in May if they still have them.

Has anyone seen yellow lately?

They only had pink, blue and black in February at WL.

Ugh, we have a lot of the current "Pool Scene" mugs from our last 3 trips. Of the 4 generations I have it's my least favorite design. I feel like it's been a couple of years since the last change (2011?) isn't it about time for a new design? I feel like they used to be updated every year-ish... or is that just wishful thinking on my part?

Here's hoping it gets updated before our SWW trip next month!

In the past the mug has been updated every two years. The current design was introduced in early 2011, so it's definitely time for an update. I have a feeling we won't see anything new till early next year.

You're correct - yellow was one of the original colors in 2011 but it was replaced by black during that year. Discontinued.

That's my thinking too, though I did hear an alternate explanation from a CM at Pop earlier this month... I'm not putting much stock in it, because we all know how well-informed  lower-level cast tend to be and this came from a woman wiping down the mug station in the food court, which is why I didn't pop right over to share. According to this particular unreliable source, we won't see a new mug until they roll-out RFID machines property-wide. :confused3 I thought the test at the All Stars was more or less a failure but with the rest of the RFID roll-out I suppose anything is possible.

Of course, if they do the RFID mugs they'll never have to change the design again because they'll have an alternate way of policing old mug use. For that reason alone I hope it doesn't come to pass.

Well, everything else is going to RFID, so why not mugs? I bet the chip will not be in the mug, but you'll use you KTTW or band.

That could be a good thing, especially if they take the opportunity to offer a refill plan as a room/package add-on without having to purchase the physical mug. And it would probably be more stable than the in-mug chips, which as I understand it were not as durable as expected under actual-use conditions.
