April 30 day shred

Yep, I started on the 8th, so Thursday will be day one of Level 2! For those doing level 2, did you up the weights? I am using 3 pound weights now but considering moving up to 5 pound weights :)
 
I have a camping trip this weekend! I am taking my Ipad and completing 30DS in the tent!! :) Or outside if it's not too cold in the am! People will laugh at me, but I refuse to miss one day!! :) I think I started the same day as you, need to go back and see when I posted I completed day 1 :)

Whoo hoo!!! That is awesome, I love it! As for the weights in Level 2, I have been using 5 lbs OR 1 lbs!! Some moves I simply cannot do at 5 so I use 1's. I am using these two sizes because that is all I have.

Today is the halfway mark for those who started on the 1st!! YAY!! I still can't believe how badly I sweat during this workout. I have read before that there are actually people out there who think 30 DS isn't a hard workout...I can't imagine what those people think is hard then!! :lmao:

Okay. I finished level 1 day 9 and my knee feels better. I need to figure out when I'm squeezing in tomorrow's workout. And then...level 2 on Wednesday :)

Are you sure you are not living my life??? :) Tuesdays are the worst days!! I am usually waking up at 5am to finish grading research papers, then off at 8:30...back home for 45 minutes to walk the dogs...then back out to take girls to dance and my son to rowing, we get home around 8:30 on Tuesday nights..my plan is to get as much grading done today as possible and do my 30DS at 5am...then fill in my 2 miles on treadmill at 9pm...I do find that doing something 12 or so hours apart keeps my metabolism happy!

5 am and research papers? No thank you! I'd rather do 30ds at 5 am lol. I think it's great you're planning to do your workouts while camping. I hope you have fun :)

YES!! Thank you!!! I misread the posts in the back and I started on the 7th but when you posted you started the same day it was 12:42 am on the 8th..blast that European time change :) So YIPPEE!! Day 10 is TOMORROW!!! YES!! Wednesday we start level 2! YAHOO!!

:( Hope your knee feels better. Mine did, but hurts again tonight lol. Silly thing.

~Well I finished level 1 today. I can't wait to start level 2 tomorrow!

I missed Saturday (had a bad headache) and yesterday (physically and emotionally exhausted) and today was HARD as a result. BUT I did it!
 
Geez! Completed day one of Level 2! Whew!! I sweated up a lot more than level 1, but that could be because it's 100% humidity outside and I'm trying to reserve AC...
I had to do quite a bit of the modified, heck all of the modified except one...I will not and can not do the last minute of abs workout..that move is very hard on the knees...too much torque can occur if you just move that foot poorly, with the extra strain on the feet and shoulders, not a good risk for people with pre-existing knee problems..so I am going back and just doing a minute of the bicycle ab workout. All the others I managed, had thought I would move up to 5 pound weights, but really need to stick with 3 pound weights since all these are new moves and seem to be using completely different muscles...

Thank you! My knees are still not feeling well I might go back to level one those 4 days of level 2 really put a beating on my knees

Uhhhhhh...YES!!!

I sweated a lot more too, but I loved the change in workout. Level 2 is tough & I'm ready for the next 9 days :)

I cannot believe how much I sweat on level 2!! I mean I guess I'm a sweater anyways, but ugh, it's just gross!! haha!! I'm so anxious to see what level 3 is all about. Will I survive???

Oh yes!!! My calves are defined, my waist is shrinking, my arms are toning, and I've been able to get into clothes I haven't been able to since before getting pregnant with my now 3-year-old!

I must confess that I only did days 1 and 2 consecutively on Level 2, I've kind of been averaging a day's rest between each day since moving up to Level 2. Wasn't intentionally but I have bad knees so I think it's actually being beneficial as Level 2 is hard on my knees. I plan on moving up to Level 3 as originally scheduled, though. So I'm a bit of a cheater-baby at the moment...

I have about 40-50 to lose and I am hard wired on staying under 1100 calories a day, am on day 12 and really see a difference already, everything is much more loose...I can not wait to take the final picture at day 30!!! I will post here but I have WISH journal where I have my start picture, just looking at that picture I have probably already lost 2 inches off hips and at least one off waist...should have measured but could never find tape!

AWESOME!! That's so great! Hearing that keeps me inspired.

I have one more day of level 2 and I'm working my butt off and sweating buckets, but so far my weight has went back and forth between ONE POUND DIFFERENCE :sad1: But I am trying not to be discouraged and just keep going. I do find I can keep up easier as time goes on. I guess I really need to crack down on junk food! I don't pig out but I do eat something pretty much every day.
