Cost of golf cart rental through Disney?

Curious if anyone knows the current rate they are charging? Thinking about not bringing our cart down and renting one probably from Kenny but was curious on the difference.

I think the Disney rates are $59+tax for a four seater and $85+tax for a six seater.

Kenny is definitely worth using.

I know alot of people recommend Kenny for golf cart rental and I would be tempted to use him but..... several years ago we rented from a company, can't remember the name, but about 2 weeks from our trip they called and said that Disney would not allow outside companies golf cart and he had to cancel on us. Lucky we could still get a few carts from the fort. So maybe it is just me, but I would always have this in the back of my mind. Maybe this is a non issue now?

When I was there in Dec. had I not rented from an outside vendor and waited until I got there I would have been out of luck! They were completely sold out! There are a few vendors out there that are still allowed...they don't advertise because that is exactly what caused the others to loose their privileges . They save you about 50% so very well worth it..they do however have a min. # of days to rent since they must haul them in and out. Good luck either way ,

We were just down for 10 days Spring Break. Rented from Kenny. Fantastic service and cart. Have used him multiple times...never had a problem.

So a quick question. Are Kennys carts easier to get as you arriive at the Fort. I remember renting the Disney carts and had to get to the golf barn to get them after 1pm. Waited quite awhile to rent them. Does Kenny leave his where we could get them without this? That would really be great, save alot of time. Thanks

Did it take you guys a while to get in touch with someone there? I have contacted them with their form, they called me back and left a message, I have called a few times but get the machine. I have left messages on both numbers. Hopefully I will hear soon. I will just feel better when I have my rental booked.

I remember renting the Disney carts and had to get to the golf barn to get them after 1pm. Waited quite awhile to rent them.

For the last 4 years, at least, if you are renting a Disney cart you don't go to the Bike Barn. We have arrived at FW at various times between 3PM and 6PM and after checking in at the Outpost I just stepped outside and the Disney cart was there. The drop off for the Disney carts are across the street from the Outpost so I have never even seen the Bike Barn.

To be honest, if there is one downside to Kenny's business it is the lack of reservation confirmation. Kenny and Tee Time are a small business and people report the same lack of confirmation as you do. Then they also report getting a call a few days before arrival to discuss pickup options.

People also report getting an answer to a phone call in the morning (best chances). I know in this age of Amazon.com instant order confirmation and tracking shipping capability (my favorite), this loose approach leaves you feeling uneasy. I'm sorry there's not a better answer for you.

I have found Kenny is easiest to reach early in the am. I have left messages and he or his assistant has always called us back then or in a couple of days at the latest.
I booked my spring break rental last fall knowing it was a very busy time of year.
He has never let us down once we have confirmed our trip dates with him and availability. We were a bit nervous the first rental but now I don't pass a thought on it. He will confirm a couple of days from arrival and we call him when we land and let him know what cabin we are in once we know.

I was afraid of that. I would just feel better knowing I have a reservation. I might reserve one with Disney just in case. I don't want to get down there and not have a cart. We have one that we have always taken with us but just don't want to fool with towing it down this year.
