Waiting for my packet from Disney...Question...

I just called Member Services to get my member ID. They did not give it to me. I have my activation code but am still waiting on the member letter and the welcome packet.

3/22/13 - Faxed closing documents back to title company and wired funds for the contract
4/02/13 - Disney notified of the change of ownership
4/15/13 - Received DVC one-time activation code via email

I received my member # the day after I got the access code in e-mail. You should get it soon.

I just got my membership ID in the mail today! However, when I try to log on to DVCMember, it says my number or activation code is incorrect. I know I entered it right. Anyone else have the same problem?

Me too! What gives?

We received our member number in the mail but no activation number for the website. I call MS and the CM was kind enough to walk me thru a reservation and set up my web access. Still waiting for the package but happy to have our reservations set. Good luck hope it arrives soon

MS needs to give you your ID for your first login. Now that you have both call them and they will help set you up.

I had this same problem. It seems that the member number isn't the one you use to set up online. I called MS and they were able to give me the number that I needed. Poor design. Good luck and Welcome Home!

Yep, you need a Club ID# and an activation code, neither of which is your member#. I just got my member # in the mail this week as well and had to call MS to get these two pieces of info. I called the 800#, chose option 1 then option 6 (I think -- it was the one for help with dvcmember.com and other tech support). The VERY NICE person gave me the necessary info, I set up my account, made my first reservation, and then successfully linked everything through My Disney Experience. It wasn't exciting at all (obviously kidding -- the most satisfying thing I've done in months -- AKV here I come!!!!!!!!)

It's weird that they don't give you the club ID somewhere along the way. It would avoid some of the frustration. I wonder if they provide you with it rather than making you search for it, if you but direct....

Thanks everyone, got it all figured out today. Now to type out a new thread with a different question!
