Debating: AoA Suite vs. FW Cabin -- WWYD?

Debating between AoA suite vs. FW cabin. Price is very similar, within a few dollars. But if you toss in a golf cart rental at Cabins, it bumps the price up about $65/day (I think).

I know the experiences would be quite different - more "rustic" feel at FW, no food court, etc. Full kitchen at Cabins, but not sure how much cooking we'd do besides breakfast. I haven't had a chance to stay at AoA yet, but it looks fun! Would love some feedback, please! Thanks much.

I'd post this question on the AoA information forum. Bet you'll get lots of opinions, then. I have not stayed at either, but given a choice, I'd be picking AoA.

I've debated staying at the cabins before, but never have, for a couple of reasons.

First off, I don't like how you have to catch 2 buses to get to a park. First you have to take the internal shuttle to a bus stop, then go from there.

Second, traveling with a bunch of people I would rather stay in an AoA suite or All Star suite that has 2 bathrooms.

I haven't stayed at AOA but the thing that I really disliked about the cabins was the busing system. As someone said you have to take an internal bus just to get to the bus stop for the bus that goes everywhere else. It got to be quite annoying when we would just miss buses and often made for a very long wait trying to get to the parks.

There is a guy named Kenny(tee time??) that you can rent golf carts from also. Read the FW thread under the camping board. Lots of people seem to use him and love his service. It will be cheaper than a Disney golf cart.

I am a cabins fan. Love that no one is connected, so if the kids get a little loud inside the cabin I know we are not bothering another family. But, I rent a car. I only use internal transporatation to get around the grounds and to MK. Although I really enjoy the solitude (Compared to a regular hotel room) I do not like taking two busses to get anywhere, hence the car.

Great feedback - thank you so much! We've decided to go with a suite at AoA.

Thanks again!

Is there a separate AoA forum? Where is it?
