Free Dining = QSDP for Mods?

I've heard that IF there are any FD offers this year, the Moderates will only get free Quick Service dining. Has anyone else heard that?
(I don't know that the BB offer is exactly what we will see for the general public. The BB offers were created last year. Disney may have changed its discount strategy for the remainder of this year.)

I've seen rumors posted. You may want to post on the discount board, that's where free dining rumors are discussed:

This has been the case for UK visitors for the past 2-3 years, deluxe resorts get ddp, moderate get qsdp, and values get nothing.

It's typical for the UK, but for US offers this is currently just a rumor. There have been a few PIN codes in the past that included quick service dining at moderates, but the general public offers have always been regular dining at mods and deluxes.

I remember reading somewhere that free dining could possibly consist of nothing for values and QSDP for both moderates and deluxes. This is only a rumor, of course, as nothing is definite until Disney makes an official announcement (that is if FD is actually offered at all).

For us then a room discount will be the best. Qsdp doesn't save us any $ at the most we would break even on dining, and have to pay rack rate for the room. Not much of a deal.

We had a PIN for a last minute trip last spring that gave us (just my husband and I on this trip) free QSDP with moderate. After adding up everything we ate, some of which were not things we would normally order (such as dessert with every meal...would have preferred appetizer or salad), QSDP is slightly better than break even at best. much easier than paying for meals, but definitely not a terrific deal. May be more advantageous if you also have two kids in the room, but in this case, I wouldn't go out of my way for it.
