Sushi Sushi Sushi!!!

My family and I are visiting Disney this coming July and I'm looking for some good sushi! The problem is that my wife isn't a big sushi fan, so does anyone have any suggestions on where I can find good sushi but also have other options on the menu for my wife? I could also do lunch by myself one day while my wife and MIL are at the parks for good sushi!! From my understanding the California Grille will still be closed (that was my favorite sushi spot) and i'm not too familiar with other locations. Any suggestions?? Thanks!

I believe that the Ploy has a sushi area outside of the Kona Cafe. It also offers other selections. I have not tried it but have read that it is good. We will be there in June, if we try it I will let you know how it is.

California Grill is pricey but has some of the best sushi I have ever had- it constantly gets great reviews. Other food is wonderful you DW would have a great meal. I think wofgang puck has california rolls maybe a few other items and other food is good and reasonable.

Kimonos at the Swan has sushi and other items for dinner. Very good and authentic sushi. They do have tempura and chicken Katsu on the menu:

I also read that Kona Sushi @the Poly is now open for lunch and dinner!

Sushi at Wolfgang Pucks in Downtown Disney is pretty good. They used to have a great Happy Hour, but think it has been scaled down. What's great about Puck's is there are so many non-sushi items available.

I think Kimonos is the best but there's not much for the non sushi lovers.

Tokoyo Dining has sushi, also Japan has a quick service called Katsura Grill that has sushi as well.

The Poly has Kona Island Sushi in the afternoons, but you can order it in Kona as well.

Wolf Gang Puck Café has sushi

Calli Grill has amazing sushi at $22 a roll! Spicy Kazan is amazing

Starring Rolls in HS has sushi (grab and go)

Sunshine Seasons has sushi (grab and go)

Kimonos at Swan

Art of Animation has sushi (grab and go) so I would think a lot of the resorts may have this in their food courts in the grab and go section.

Bennyhana (sp?) has an all you can eat sushi night this is over at the Hilton DTD.

Thanks so much for the replies. We love riding around on the monorail to all the different resorts so I think Kona Cafe might be our best choice because my wife can order off the Cafe menu. Do I just ask the CM for the sushi menu or do I have to go over to the sushi bar and pick up the food and bring it to the Kona Cafe table? Thanks!

The sushi there is AMAZING!! Especially anything with Tuna! We were there a few times last month and all times it was fabulous! Great Atmosphere as well. FYI, Our waiter(who we see once a yr. during our family vacation) informed us that since Cali Grill is closed, their sushi chefs are at Kona making their sushi!! When eating at the sushi bar, you can order food from Kona Cafe(the restaurant right next to it) They have a steak, crab cakes, etc. You can also dine at Kona Cafe and order sushi there if you want to be seated at a table instead of a high top counter/sushi counter.

Another rec for Kona's sushi bar - love the sushi there, and great people watching from the seats at the bar! I believe you and order from Kona Café there as well - and vice versa.
