Hi Can someone tell me whether I am making to much about this. I'm still very angry at what happened and I've been back home 3 weeks.we booked a trip last July for travel in march 2013 I had booked one room for four people. In September I added an additional room For my son and granddaughter who were both Celebrating birthdays Both rooms were on Supposed to have two double beds in each We were traveling with a group of 17 people and had booked five rooms When we arrived at the hotel it was late because our plane was delayed around 12 midnight We went to our rooms and one of my rooms had king-size bed in it and was not adjoining with my son They switched my room but which was Away from My son and granddaughter I had nothing but stress and anxiety the whole week trip from running back and forth between rooms I don't understand why they couldn't accommodate us when two other members of our group had the adjoining rooms this day I said there was nothing they could do about it my week was already ruined as I was exhausted and felt left out from the rest of the group

There are limited adjoining rooms. You honestly are pretty lucky that your party was able to get any. They are not guaranteed, and your confirmation should have said so. The only exception is if it is a single family with several children, and sometimes things happen to where even that is not guaranteed. Given the fact that you checked in very late, anyone who checked in before you who also requested adjoining rooms, got to them first because they arrived before you. I'm sorry that happened, but there really is nothing that could have been done. Disney is a very magical place, but they can't make rooms appear that are not available. That just isn't possible. I hope the rest of your trip was good. :goodvibes

Does this still happen even though it was booked on one credit card for two rooms My son is a single father of a five-year-old who was there

Yes. A credit card just guarantees that you will have a room on property. An adjoining room is simply a request. It is not a bookable category. Perhaps you could stay in the same room with them next time. Then you could all be guaranteed to be together. :goodvibes

Thanks for the tip I'll do that next time I was so frazzled I forgot half my clothes thankfully Disney sent them back
