We used them for our engagements and I just mailed off my deposit to use them for our Escape wedding. They are some of the most delightful people you'll ever meet. If you've seen their Facebook, you've seen a couple of our 'sneak peeks'! They kept us laughing the whole time. Even though we are to get our photos next week, I didn't have to wait to see them to know I want them to be our wedding photographers.

I loved your photos! They look so fun, especially the ones with the Rangers jerseys. (I lived in Dallas for two years and just recently moved to Austin.) So glad they are fun people that make you laugh. That should help with some the nerves and get more natural photos. Thank you so much for your opinion!

David and Vicki are amazing photographers and even more incredible people that you just instantly enjoy being around. I have only had my engagement photos done by them, but I honestly can't envision anyone else photographing my wedding in September. When I first was in communication with them, they sent me a survey and encouraged me to fill it up with pages and pages of information and shots that I wanted, which I thought was incredibly cool. I've heard of some other brides on the Facebook group days before their wedding wondering when their photographer was going to ask them about shots they wanted. I even slipped a little question in the middle of my survey, which they answered right away, so I know they don't just skim over it or save it to your file when they got it.

When they showed up for our engagement shoot, I was a nervous wreck. I hate being in front of the camera, I was heavier than I wanted to be, and I had never met them before... and now I have to be all lovey dovey with my fiance in front of strangers? Instantly, we were so comfortable. They are very good at posing you too. I hate how awkward some photos are... like when a girl has her hand on a guy's stomach and it makes him look pregnant, lol.

I have no idea how Vicki keeps up with all the brides she keeps in touch with, but it's pretty amazing how she has become a friend of mine since the shoot. If they weren't such good photographers, I would want them as guests at my wedding instead of working at it.

To sum it all up, after meeting them for our engagement photos (which are included in their package, by the way... and if you can't make it down for those, you can exchange that for a bridal session after your wedding), photography is the only thing in my wedding that I have absolutely zero anxiety about. I know everything will be handled perfectly. I know they're going to be amazing with us and amazing with our guests. And I know they'll be our photographers for life (another important note to add- if you do your wedding with them, any shoot they do for you for the rest of your life is 50% off!)

This is a big reason I wanted to go to an outside vendor. It's unfortunate that with Disney you don't get much contact with your actual photographer. And glad to hear they took the time to read your packet in its entirety.

Lol! I totally know what you're talking about though. That's so great that they have suggestions as I have no idea how to pose for photos! I told Vicki one of the big reasons I want to do engagement pictures next month is to get the giggles out for kissing pictures. It's reassuring to know that you had the same hesitations and they made you feel comfortable.

She seems so sweet. Her enthusiasm is contagious and she's pretty funny, too.

Thank you so much for your very detailed review! I signed with them yesterday so it's great to hear more positive reviews. I actually saw your photos on their blog, and thought they were so cute! I LOVED the Mickey pretzel one and pointed it out to my fiance. I frequently tell him that the Mickey ones taste better than the regular ones. I probably don't need to explain that to anyone on here. Hi, my actual name is Renee... I used David and Vicki for my wedding this summer. In all honesty they were the best choice I made for my wedding. I almost went with Disney photography and thanks to these boards I chose them~ Researching them was so easy! I immediately found out that they have been featured in magazines, on pod casts, and have photography schooling. In addition to their knowledge, and their craft... to know them is to love them. They were a part of my wedding day that I will absolutely never forget... they were more than faces behind lenses they became a part of my fairy tale. They can make any miserable guest smile. David is a great fact shooter and knows every angle of Disney and the right way to have the light catch the lense every time! Vicki is equally as talented... but she has the beautiful aura about her that will make you feel so comfortable in front of the lense. They truely LOVE their work. Every time i watch my wedding video, I see them helping me some how or gliding around snapping... They were with me all day on my wedding and even took me back into the grand for more pictures, and came back a few days later (included in their package) to shoot my bridal portraits. I can assure you that they are worth every cent, and I will be sure to find any reason to work with them in the future. I too hired David & Vicky and it was the best decision. They immediately felt like good friends of ours, so warm and personable and easy to work with. They spent nearly my entire wedding day with us, and even when the night should have been over, they took my husband and I out to the Boardwalk to capture some more photos because they felt bad that it had rained earlier. They really go above and beyond and I can't say enough great things about them.

And Renee - I love your mixbook, it's amazing and you have some beautiful photos!

Another vote for David and Vicki! They did our engagement photos in 2009, our wedding in 2010 and our family photos last year. (If you go on their website to the family and children gallery, there's a bunch of photos of our pee wee starting with her in a Cinderella dress.)

We are so lucky to have had them as our photographers. They are like family and extremely creative. We keep in contact with them and try to get together whenever we're in WDW. We loved them from minute 1 when we were emailing back and forth before our engagement photos. We felt like we had known them forever!

You have nothing to worry about if you have them as your photographers. You'll have a great time and the end result will be amazing.

I'll add my two cents. I just booked them yesterday with a deposit for my Feb 2014 wedding and I'm so happy I did! A friend of mine had them as her DFTW photographers when they worked for Disney. She loved them. Their package gave me more for my money and yes, the engagement photos come with it. I'm hoping to make it work when we come down for the planning session. They are going away the weekend we'll be there but she offered to come back a little early if it helps our plans (in terms of flying/taking time off, etc.). I haven't filled out the form yet but I will. I'm not very right brained so I'll have to look at other people's photos to get ideas. If anyone wants to link me to their photos with David and Vicki, I'd appreciate it. I need to see ideas to know what I'd like. LOL Now, if only I could have them for my MK bridal portrait session. Oh well! I'm sure Disney will do a great job with that!

I love, love, love David and Vicki! They did our wedding back in 2007 when they were still part of Disney. Since then we have done our Trash the Dress, maternity and soon family session with them. They instantly become your friends rather than just your photographers. You will not be sorry... they are AMAZING!

I totally know how you feel! I'm an accountant so not creative in the least. David and Vicki told me to send them photos I like which should be really helpful for the actual engagement and wedding photos. A few past brides said they are great with suggestions during your photo shoot, which I will definitely need.
