I just checked my email and there is a pin code for 40 % off on site hotels. We are so excited!! Taking two short trips now in may and our annual Labor Day trip. Thanks Universal!

that's the best type of emails to receive from the darkside!

woo hoo..........

it is totally random.

i have been doing the darkside since they opened and stay onsite once the hotels were opened.

i go yearly to the darkside.

still waiting for a pin code...................

ditto :rotfl: but we still go and use the APH or FL Res discounts :)

I got it and my daughter got one too. Nothing available for her dates though other than club rooms.

I'm with you Mac, no codes for me either. We have been visiting US since 1990. It was a high school trip that started it all for us.:goodvibes

Dh got one !!!! I went from the SMSM rate of $310 per night ( club level at PBH in August) to 40% off..Rate of $248 per night..WHOO HOO!!! :cool1: After the awful week I have had and the possible job loss, I am thrilled

We had a rough week too. I just looked at the code and decided a quick trip to Universal is just what we need to recharge!:)

WOOT !!

what great news !

Also received the pin code, and was able to save a bit from the Stay More Save More rate we had! :thumbsup2

Couldn't get it for our first night, Sun May 26 of Memorial Day weekend and rather than pay full price for that night ($294 + tax at RPR), we'll stay at Doubletree for that first night, and then move to RPR for 6 nights at $152 weeknights and $164 weekend. We have previously unused 7 day tickets, so I think we can handle not having Express Pass for first day. ;)

Looking forward to our relaxing, yet fun week at Universal.

I just checked my gmail email account and I have a pin code that was sent two days ago. I don't check this email account everyday. A while ago I signed up for email offers and newsletters to two email accounts. I've also completed a couple pop-up surveys when I signed up. I've gotten 2 or 3 offers since signing up but only to one of the email accounts I used when signing up.

So, I'd suggest signing up at Universal's website to receive their newsletters and special offers. Maybe, you'll get lucky and receive a pin code.

Kids just booked. They each had gotten a pin code. One got $152/night in May and the other got $134/night in end of Sept beginning of October. Cheaper than the stay more save more. Standard rooms at the RPR.

I got a 40% off pin code back in early February, but it had to be booked by Feb. 28. We didn't think we were going this year, so...then, in late March, we found out we had time to go in April. I was so disappointed to see I had missed the cut off, as our dates fall within the window. At least I was able to book with the APH rate, pretty good deal.

This has happened to me with the very few Disney codes I've gotten, too.

Those are some awesome rates, damo!!

Never mind. Just read another poster used it for Club Level room...

I got the email as well. We've only been to Universal once a few years ago. We loved the HRH! I have a question but I think you just answered it. I would love to grab a Club Level room with this kind of discount. This discount can be used on these rooms, right?

Yes it can.

Do offers come around pretty often? Never really paid attention to the emails because we always go to WDW or do DCL. Thinking about a week at US next year though. Either spring break or summer vacation.

Sure can! I booked Portofino Club level with it

There might be a pin code in the first half of next year but if the new Harry Potter area is ready in Summer 2014, you won't see any pin codes for a while after that.

So, out of curiousity - does the PIN code come from Universal directly? And, do you have to make the booking through the Universal site, or can you use the code directly on the Loews site?
