Hi everyone :wave2: My DH and I are headed to the World 4/22 - 5/1. Just thought I'd share our ADRs and kind of get others' thoughts or comments on them. Some of these are new to us, as last year was our first trip. Feel free to give me your opinions. We are on the DxDP and while we haven't yet used up all the credits, we'll be able to use them up with breakfasts or lunches where none is indicated. Here we go:

4/22 - Arrival day -- Dinner at Fulton's Crab House

4/23 -- Breakfast at Tusker House (new); Dinner at Raglan Road

4/24 -- Breakfast at Cape May; Dinner at Via Napoli

4/25 -- Lunch at Biergarten (new); Dinner at La Hacienda (new)

4/26 -- Breakfast at Kona; Dinner at Crystal Palace (new for dinner)

4/27 -- Lunch at House of Blues (new); Dinner at Fulton's (we love this place)

4/28 -- Dinner at Flying Fish (new)

4/29 -- Dinner at Trails End Buffet (new)

4/30 -- Dinner at Yachtsman Steakhouse (new)

5/1 -- Breakfast at Crystal Palace (pre-park open); Dinner at Raglan Road

So, what do you think? We're excited to try some new places. The decisions were VERY DIFFICULT! Thanks for your input :worship:

Looks great. Not sure you need two Fulton's and two Raglan's....but if you love them that much go for it!
Only thing that I see is on 4/25 that two heavy meals back to back. If your lunch is early and your dinner is late, you should be fine.

Thanks for the reply :) We really loved Fulton's, so DH wanted to have 2 nights there. The second Raglan Road ADR may get changed, depending on when we actually want to leave and head back home. On 4/25 -- lunch is at noon and dinner is at 7:20. Hopefully that's enough time to walk off lunch and build an appetite for dinner. :confused3 :scratchin

It's really tough deciding all this stuff before you go :thumbsup2

We have never cared for crystal palace lunch or dinner. We love the breakfast there and at tuskar house. Both are must trip dos for us.

I think the food at dinner for Wdw buffets, at least the character meals seems a bit restaurant buffet chain quality, maybe even a tad less at times.

Cape may is great breakfast or dinner though.

You might enjoy Tony's or LTT in the MK or try for BOG...

Have fun!

I was going to say just the opposite. We have never had a bad meal at Crystal Palace but last Thanksgiving we tried Cape May and had literally the worst meal we have ever had anyplace in or outside of WDW. Terrible service and terrible food.
The rest looked fine. If you have a car you should try heading to Celebration. The town is really nice and there are several excellent restaurants. :hippie:

I ate at Flying Fish for the first time last year and at La Hacienda this year and really enjoyed both.

I was at Flying Fish on Valentine's Day 2012 which was reportedly the first day they offered their prix fixe dinner consisting of crab cake and caesar salad appetizer, potato-wrapped snapper and steak entree, and banana napoleon dessert, and it was great! The crab cake was one of my favorite food items of the entire trip (although I always have to give the disclaimer that I am from an inland area where crab cakes are not a native dish). Not sure how they have this on the menu currently, but I've heard continuing reports that they're still doing the snapper/steak combo.

At La Hacienda, I had the tilapia, which I really enjoyed. I'm glad they put me at a bigger table than I needed, because there was food everywhere! Chips with 2 salsas (really liked the mild green salsa), my entree plate, side dishes of rice and black beans (black beans were :thumbsup2 ), little dish of tortillas, all good! I had the empanada de manzana (apple turnover with caramel & ice cream) for dessert, which was also mmm-good.

Hope you enjoy!

Good choices! Tusker House is our favorite breakfast. My only advice would be to space your meals out very well - more than you'd think! This is what killed us on DxDP. We didn't anticipate how much the three courses would fill us up, so we weren't hungry until much later than we thought.

Our service was excellent. It has been about 4 years though since we've eaten at cape may. I have heard from others the quality at dinner has gone down.

With so many other, fun options, I would just say I would try some different things rather than eat at places twice. Have fun!

This is my biggest dilemma. DH and I both really, really enjoyed Fulton's and Raglan Road. Some of the signatures don't really appeal to me. He could find something on each and every menu, I'm sure, but I just don't know if I'd be as satisfied with some of the options. Raglan Road on our departure day may very well turn into something different, just depending on when we leave and if we actually venture back to DTD. We may end up in Epcot to use our remaining snack credits, so very likely we could pick another restaurant there.

Thanks everyone for the replies :thumbsup2

Are you getting hoppers? On our last trip, we tried Biergarten. I had been very hesitant to try it, but it was really good and a lot of fun. What about Rose and Crown?

We do have hoppers. Biergarten is new for us this year too. We met a very nice family at our resort last year that raved about it, so we thought we would try it out this year. I've had no problems switching ADRs even at this late point (we arrive on 4/22), so I am still open to suggestions/recommendations to replace the 2nd Fulton's or 2nd Raglan Road reservations. Or to replace any other ADRs we have made.

Since it is just you and your hubby, what about trying a more romantic restuarant. My hubby and I are going to try Artist's Point at the Wilderness Lodge. Then after dinner we will go to the back of the hotel and watch the water parade and fireworks from Magic Kingdom.

I love the Biergarten. My family and I had a great time last time I was at WDW years ago. I can't wait to have dinner there in June with my DH. He loves Schnitzel. Plus the band is a lot of fun.

Have a great time!

One thing I love about Disney is adults enjoy it more!:yay:

Two places I'd love to try are Artist Point and Jiko. Both get really consistent positive reviews and their resorts are so pretty.
