Where should we watch the Sail Away Party?

We are a party of 4 adults looking to hear where the best spot for the Sail Away Party is. We don't need to be in the center of the action, but would like to be able to see the festivities. This will be our first cruise!

The deck above the pool - looking down onto the stage. With the sun at your back. Shouldn't have to get there too early. Get a drink and enjoy.

I agree with deck 10, you can see everything, not be in the huge mob lol, plus it is then easy to walk over to the railing to view the shore area.

If you're going on the Dream the party will be on Deck 11, and to watch from above you'd go to 12.

And as you pull away from Port Canaveral, you might enjoy heading over to the starboard railing. DCL cast members usually come out of the terminal to wave good bye with Mickey hands! Just a bit further up the canal, look for the people at restaurants like Grills and Fishlips waving at you with Mickey hands, too!

And that's what I get for not paying attention lol. I agreed the deck above party was best not even paying attention so much to the deck number.

We watch for a bit, then head all the way forward to hear the horn blast (the best part) and watch us pull away. The party is alright, but tends to lean toward families and kids.

If PC its the Starboard Side , Right, . Web Cab is on top of Fishlips Rest. If it Dream or Fastasy think it is a higher deck number 12. Is 10 on the Magic. Its the deck above the pools. Enjoy have fun. Go to you tube seach Disney Sailaway. Their are videos on everything you are going to do.

Sail aways start around 4 est time you can get adidited to watching them leave. Galveston is galveston.com and look for web cams on left
