Paradise Island/ Nassau

I had a friend suggest going to Paradise Island in Nassau. She says its easy to get a cheap cab ride there and spend the day on this free, beautiful beach. She also says to bringa towel and bottle of wine. She did not cruise on DCL, so Id love to hear a dissers point of view!

I am considering going over to Paradise Island and enjoying the beach and maybe casino area after reading this trip report by DizneyDave. I'm pretty sure that's what he did. I love his trip report.

We are cruising May 30th, I will let you know how it turns
out.
He makes it sound really easy and the water looks beautiful. I have never really heard anyone on these boards mentioning doing it until Dave's report.
