We spent 3 or the last 4 days at the parks: Friday, Saturday, and Monday. We camped at Disney's Anaheim Resort Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. We came home Sunday morning, since we had company arriving Sunday afternoon. We went back to Disney with them yesterday (Monday).

This was our first overnight, multi-day trip. Hubbs and I both appreciated downtime in the afternoons that we had become accustomed to when visiting DW. DL trips to this point have been day trips and only once have we been able to get it together to make rope drop prior to this.

In the three days that we were there, we didn't experience any delays in entering due to the CMs taking pictures of folks who had the multi-day tickets.

We're curious what is being done to Big Thunder Mountain.

I wish Disney would note on the web site that Haunted Mansion FP machines are rarely, if ever, in service.

We had early entry for DCA on Saturday morning as AP holders. Crowds were very reasonable. I'm not sure if AP EMH is less crowded than hotel guest EMH.

RSR was down when we went in (disappointed b/c I managed to have my husband AT the rope!). We opted not to wait and to ride other rides. We rode Toy Story Mania and Screamin' 3 times in the front. Hubbs was in line for RSR FP by 7:45 and the line wasn't yet back to the general admission crowd ropes. I waited by the entrance of RSR so we could ride as soon as he acquired the FP. He had the tickets by 8:10 and we got in line for RSR with about a 10 minute wait. Our FP return window was 9:05 - 10:05.

Please update the Soarin' video.

We visited the Sorcerer's Workshop. We enjoyed this more than we thought we would. We had a good half hour of laughs voicing the characters.

Yesterday was the first time that we toured with a child. She is 4 and was very good. We were at the park for 12 hours without any tantrums or breakdowns. Roger Rabbit's Toontown Spin scared the poor kid to no end. It was great seeing Disney through her eyes. She exclaimed "Wow!" upon entering Toontown. She was shy with furry characters and soooo interactive with the princesses. This was our first time in Toontown or Fantasy Faire. I don't know that I'm a fan of pushing a stroller around the park, but it was a must for the little one.

Disney has something for everyone. It was the first time at any Disney for our friends. One of our houseguests likes the tamer rides and appreciated Autotopia and Nemo with his daughter. His wife was happy to have a buddy to ride roller coasters and rougher rides with.

I think they were a little overwhelmed with the commando style at first, but greatly appreciated arriving super early at the beginning and understood the reason for traipsing all over the park.

Yesterday was the first time that Hubbs and I ever watched an entire parade. We liked it as a new experience and our friends were thoroughly impressed.

Anaheim RV Resort is now owned by Disney?:confused3

Disney's website does not list Haunted Mansion as having fastpass. Fastpasses are only available when it is Haunted Mansion Holiday.

From Disney's website:
Using Disney FASTPASS Service

Look for the FASTPASS distribution area near the entrance of an attraction.

Check the FASTPASS "Return Time" display to learn when you can return to experience the attraction.

Insert your Disneyland Resort admission ticket, readmission ticket or Annual Passport into the FASTPASS machine.

A FASTPASS ticket will be printed with your Return Time.

Enjoy the rest of the Disneyland Resort.

Go to the "FASTPASS Return" queue at your Return Time, show your FASTPASS ticket to the Cast Member and enjoy the attraction!

Thank you for this correction. Sometimes thoughts pop in my head from places and get misconstrued in my touring plans.

figured it was a ****oo....Disney hasn't had an RV park at Disneyland since they removed the one on West AV to build DTD and Mickey and Friends Parking structure...
Stayed there a few times years ago.
Was basically a paved parking lot with a few bushes between spaces....
Best part was the tram that picked up at the entrance and took us to the DL entrance.

Could not agree more! It's bad enough that the screens themselves are in dire need of repair, but there is no excuse for that video. Reshoot the video in high-def, expand it beyond California to the entire USA so the same video can work at WDW, and create an entire "new" attraction on the cheap. I don't know why they don't do this.
