Current cab fares from cruise terminal to Marigot

We are looking to get off the Fantasy in Philipsburg and head right into Marigot for the day. I have found a number of sites with cab fare information, but they vary wildly. It seems like the fare might be something along the lines of $15 for the first two people, and $5 for each additional person, but I can't be sure.

Has anyone taken a cab from Philipsburg to Marigot recently, and if so, do you recall the fare info?

The other question is: will I need florins to get there and euros to get back? Or do cabs on either/both sides of the island take the U.S. dollar? I am assuming the cabs are not taking credit card payments in-cab, but I could be wrong about that.
