When do you pick your boarding time?

For some reason, I can't remember how or when we did this? Is it part of the check in or before? Thanks!!!

You do it during your online check in which based on your post you have cruised before so it would be 90 days out from your cruise

After you have completed all of the online registration forms, you will be given a choice of port arrival times to choose from.

As noted by PP, it's during your online checkin. I think it's about page 4 of the process, and you must fill in all preceding pages for the PAT page to unlock. You can just use the defaults, and edit later. Or fill it in as you go.

You online checkin/excursion window opening day is dependent on your CC status.

Does anyone know when it might be for first timers- our first DCL is in a few months but we have not done any online pre- info... I know we have always done so on the other cruise lines but we have not sailed DCL before, now we have 3 booked. Thanks!!

If you log in on the crucial line website it will tell you how many days you have until check in and if you are available to it will let you do everything you need to. Remember you can't choose a port arrival time until you say If you will pay cash or credit for on board charges.

Just wondering does anyone know if you can change your charge method after check-in? We have a 2nd cruise and on our first we got a late arrival time (didn't matter since we were let right on even though we were super early) because we waited to say how we would pay. If we can change it this time we will just say cash and then put the card down closer to the date.

Yes, you can change it later. I didn't have my card in front of me when I went to check in so I chose cash and then changed to card later without losing my PAT.

We have a PAT of 1:30 pm. If we arrive at 11 what are the chances of us getting in earlier than our PAT? I understand we will have to wait til the initial crowd is on board.

With a PAT of 1:30 arriving at 11 is not a good idea. You may be asked to wait outside the terminal until after boarding starts because there is only a certain amount of people allowed in the terminal at a time. I would say that arrive between 12 and 1230 would be safe as by then the inital crowd will be on the ship and they should be close to open boarding by then. Arriving at this time is also before people from disney hotels start arriving.

The online checkin/excursion booking window opens 75 days out for first time DCL cruisers.

AFAIK, you can edit any information that you've entered up until 3 days prior to the cruise.

My online check in begins on June 24th, just wondering what exact time I can start doing this? We want to get the earliest PAT possible!

We aren't planning any excursions so I'm not worried about getting that done first or anything...main concern is the PAT!

This will be my 3rd sailing on DCL so we get to check in 90 days out!

The window opens at midnight Eastern time. And you must log in after midnight, already being logged in and hitting "refresh" won't do it.

Be sure to fill out all the pages preceding the PAT page or it won't unlock. You can just use the defaults (or gibberish) if you want to get to the PAT page faster, and then go back and edit. Or just fill the information out as you go along.
