Yesterday, my FE arrived that I had made. It is perfect!

Everything seems to be coming together! 10 days out...looking forward to some sunshine, warm weather (it's 27 here today), and pixie dust!

I have a question for those of you who have sailed with Disney several times. Where is your favourite place to have breakfast and/or lunch? Also, Matt, what is Cabanas? I think that was the name of somewhere you recommended we eat if we're tired and don't want to get dressed up. Thank you!

Brain fart on my part....Cabanas is on another boat. It's Beach Blanket Buffet...same thing, different name (for the most part).

Sorry, forgot that question. If time permits we prefer to eat at the MDR's as much as possible. The service isn't as slow as you would think and we rarely have the chance to go out for breakfast.

Admittedly that's difficult to do in wet swim shorts so the wrap station outside Beach Blanket Buffet (BBB) for the DW and I, whatever the kids want from the other deck restaurants. The wrap station also has fruit and ice cream.....

When time is tight due to excursions, early debarkation, etc it's BBB.

On our first cruise we tried to do both -- have breakfast and lunch in the MDRs (for us it was Lumiere's on the Magic) and at the buffet. The kids liked the buffet better because they tried some new foods (crawfish at lunch the day of the seafood lunch buffet -- I think each day has a theme for lunch) and at breakfast they could get mickey waffles and fruit loops I like getting a snack at Goofy's Galley which is on the pool deck by the drink stations and ice cream station. They always had wraps and smaller sandwiches that were nice to try out.

This cruise I want to try dinner at BBB. We have late seating, which is fine, but our kids rarely eat that late. Last cruise we would feed them on the pool deck around 5-6pm (and they swam in a nearly empty pool at that time!), and they would come to dinner at 8:15 to have dessert and then go to the kids club.

They ran out of Mickey bars on our last cruise after day two! So this time, my kids are looking forward to a Mickey bar every day!

I shipped my gifts yesterday from Fed Ex. The gifts should be in Miami by Monday...ahhh, they will be enjoying the warm Miami weather a few short days before we get there. Can't wait!

Can you believe that we still have kept this trip a secret? My DD5 is going to flip out next Friday morning when we wake her up to go to the airport. One fun day/night in Miami and then off to see the Wonder and all her beauty. This will be our 2nd trip on the Wonder (last trip was on the Dream) but looking forward to all that she has to offer.

We are in the single digits of days until cruising... YES!!!

I SO want to mail my gifts, but am really scared that it will get lost. When you called to get the address... were they very reassuring that it will get there with no problem? Where do you end up getting it? Do they load it on the boat and deliver it to your stateroom?

Looks like I'll be near a few of our fellow cruisers before next week. It's gonna be a crazy time at my house on Thursday night/Friday morning! Can't wait to meet everyone. I went to pick some up last weekend and the selection was significantly slimmer than it will be in June. Not nearly as much to choose from.

I've been making my packing lists in my hotel room. Can't wait to get home tomorrow and get packed up - I'm SOOOOOO ready for this trip!
