Best dining experience we might have ever had at WDW !!!!

Had a 5:05PM ADR for "Sanaa" tonight, and SO glad we tried for the 1st time !

Had a seat near the window---- it was amazing !!! From the atmosphere--- to the food--- to the view-- (The Zebras were so close they could have shared our dinner !!!) Our server (Hichame) was probably the best we've ever had at any restaurant-

After the meal, I called for the manager, just to tell her how amazing he was -- and the entire experience-- She told me that if you call to make an ADR, you can request a certain server, and they will and honor the request-- even of the person is not scheduled that day/time--- I never knew that !

We had the salad trio, and the bread service--- both were soooo good !!!

For entree, we had the Beef Tips and Lamb--- and the Curry shrimp, and butter chicken---

For dessert--- the trio, and REAL COFFEE !!! French press--

I am just sorry we are heading home Saturday, or we would be going back a few more times this trip !!!

Honestly--- the bread service and salad trio would have been enough, if we werent starved !!! )

It was a very nice amount !! Enjoy !!!

we make our ADR's in a few weeks for our october trip. we are staying at kidani and were on the fence with saana. i think you just convinced me to book it. thanks and im glad you had a great meal there. im looking forward to trying it out.

Just switched our Boma for Sanaa tonight. Is it a large amount of food?

Our first meal there was DDP, hubby and I paid OOP for the bread service (love this!), then we had the pick two with the butter chicken and the shrimp with the green curry. Dessert was the banana kulfa. Tons of food. We then had lunch there in January (no DDP) and were content to do the bread service and share the pick two with double butter chicken. We shared the rice and it was plenty of food for both.

According to the boards (and the servers at the restaurant), best time is between 5-5:15PM---

We had a 5:10PM, and it was perfect !!! Animals came right up to the window--- AMAZING !!

2) As an FYI, the pronunciation is "sa-Naaa".
. . . all soft-sound vowels
. . . emphasis on second syllable.
3) However, we fully agree upon the AHHHHH part !!!

We're staying a couple days at kindani in October and will give Sanaa a try. Honestly I've changed 4 or 5 times. I hope the food tastes better than it looks! Lmao

Has anyone eaten at Sanaa as a solo? I would love to try it, but keep putting it off in case my sister comes with me some time (I know she'd want to eat there) because so many "mmm, that sounds good!" things seem to be for sharing (bread service, appetizers, salads, etc.).

Glad you mentioned the Press Pot coffee...........that is on my list for July!!!

I'll be so sad if they Orange cake is gone.

Guess I'll just have to have my dessert in a drink ............key Lime Pie Martini!!
