Suggested limo/shuttle service from hotel to port

Anyone have any advice, suggestions, experiences with shuttle/limo services that you can share? Our cruise is Aug 2014 and just trying to get some different ideas as to what company to use, not to use, pricing, etc. we are planning on staying on property the one night prior and going to port from there.

TIA

We used Florida Town Car for our party of ten in 2011 and saved hundreds of dollars over using the Disney transport. We have a big van and the service was impeccable! We were also able to make a stop at a store on the way to get things we needed to take on board, something you can't do if you take the Disney bus. If you have a small party then the savings would not be too significant. When we went the first time in 1999 we used the Disney transportation for our party of three.

We used Happy Limo and used the code to save from money from Mousesavers website. As we were a party of 8, I booked the stretch limo (part of a Christmas fight to my parents and in-laws). If you visit their website, all prices are posted. We found their service and professionalism wonderful. Our driver texted me the night before each pick up to confirm the time & place of pick up. We were picked up at the MCO Hyatt and dropped off there after the cruise. The drivers were prompt & professional and we requested a stop on our way to the terminal to pick up some bevvies. On both rides, there was juice boxes, pop, and water on ice for us. The limos were clean and it was cheaper than the Disney transfers with no lines. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Oops just noticed some spelling errors. Lol . It should read "save some money" and "Christmas present" not Christmas fight. Lol. That would be some fight. Lol.

Tiffiney Town Car ! :thumbsup2
We've used them for the past 15 years and have always had great experiences !
We had a stretch limo last month to celebrate a graduation ! :dance3:

We just used Tiffany last month and it was PERFECT!!! Always early and would stop and drive where ever we wished to pick up snacks and drinks for the cruise. Tiffany is now my exclusive drivers.

I'm not sure if you have ruled out DCL transfers. With just 3 passengers (your youngest should be free) it is probably similar price to private car/limo service ($35 per person one-way so $105 for your family). Convenience is the main factor here - they'll pick up your bags at the resort that morning and you won't see them again until they arrive in your stateroom onboard. Downside is that you don't get to pick the time and arrival at port is a little later than some like (typically around 1:00/1:30pm), nor do you have the flexibility of making a stop along the way.

Rental car is likely your least expensive, though with 2 little ones you'd either need to drag car seats from home or use rentals which will up the price. But this is also probably the least convenient and most hassle as someone would need to go to the Car Care Center to pick up the rental.

Others have given suggestions about private car/limo services.

Enjoy your cruise!

We used Noble Transportation from WDW to port recently. It was $156 one way including gratuity and one stop on the way. We requested a towncar but were picked up in a Lincoln SUV at no extra charge. I would use them again.

We went thu Happy Limo, got a flat tire on the way to port. Took them well over an hour to get us a new limo, told us they would "make it right with us, just to call after trip over". They gave me $20 back, seriously. I realize that a flat tire can happen any time but they just didn't have very good customer service. Poor communication while waiting for limo and when I called afterwards, they were not very nice.

Jakesmom - I was just going to post the same question for our Aug 14 cruise - maybe we'll see eachother!
We have a party of 12, so we definitely want a shuttle because we can fill a small one up ourselves. Any other suggestions? Anyone find a shuttle that would allow a quick grocery store stop on the way back from Port Canaveral?
