Ok so... I was being good and letting everyone else claim before me as lots of you are probably still asleep! and I am going to still do that only I'm just going to nab one card first - expedition Everest! We have been waiting YEARS to ride it, so I wanna make the card!! Otherwise.... Everyone else claim your cards throughout the night - your daytime - and I will stake my claim in the morning (my morning).

I might be able to do the caught in the rain one & the different countries in Epcot. I have Photoshop CS4. I'm not brilliant at graphic design, but I know some basics, and I've been collecting Disney clipart/graphics.

Excellent Disneymoon2013!! I'll mark you in on the superpost We're designing them all at 300dpi, so they are 900 x 1200 pixels in size. Once you have them done you can post them on this thread and also in the completed cards thread http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3072096 . Looking forward to seeing your cards - no hurry though!

Where do you get a lot of your edge work from? Are they brushes? Or do you make them from scratch?

Mine have been from scratch or clipart that I have been able to find. I really do need to mess around with the brushes more.

That is the ten million dollar question! I do a bing or google image search and set it to find large images. I do use Wikipedia some times easpecially for logos. You can try some of the clip art sites listed in the creative DISigns sticky. Many of them have very jagged images or low quality images though. Sometimes I do an extraction to get a good image (not fond of those) you can try fanpop for some things. Hoping someone else will share a great site I'm not aware of!

Hello the more the merrier! There is a bunch of site listed under http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2430262 but will take you a bit to get thru them.

For me I search in mostly in Google under images - there is an area where you can click on "Search Tools" and there you can choose file size and you want and I always choose large. Best thing to remember as you can always shrink and image but don't want to make larger from original state or that is when things can get pixelized. Good luck and look forward to see your cards!

Disneymoon2013, I make most of my edges, they're very simple for the most part. I used photoshop's leaf brushes on a couple of the cards but mostly just make my own edges. If there are any in particular you are curious about, let me know! I also sometimes use bits of clipart & modify them for the edges.

tiggergalttfn, it was very easy... it's 2 pieces of clipart, this one and this one. I copied them, flipped them, rotated, chopped, and merged them until I was happy with the effect. Then I put a gradient over the whole thing to harmonise it & to mirror the colours in the logo
