Congrats on your wedding! Unfortunately you won't be able to go inside the Magic Kingdom during park hours in your dress... Maybe do a splashy lunch reception and then an Epcot dessert party (where you CAN wear your dress?)

You can have an Epcot dessert party for viewing illuminations. I have not heard of dessert parties during the day.

My (future) fiancé, Anthony, and I are planning a Wishes wedding for June 2014. Rather not have it in the Summer, but I am in medical school and our little girl is 5, so that's really the only time we'll have free! The plan is getting engaged this Summer, then married a year later.

We are hoping for June, 2014 with a ceremony at Italy, a brunch reception at ADH and an Epcot DP (no idea where yet, though!).


Can't wait to get our date secure and go through the planning journey with all of you!

Im hoping for June or July 2014 and can't wait to start officially planning! It so hard to wait for the time frame to plan things for an escape wedding.

Looks like we are going to get married October 12, 2014...at least that's looking like that plan at the moment.

We're also talking about November but trying to work around a weekend with a "kids are off school" day so that our nieces and nephews might be able to come and it looks like Columbus Day might be the winner...

Not 100% committed on which locations yet...I love SeaBreeze Pointe but am worried about weather...will be a few months before we finalize whether we are doing escape or wishes and that choice (and related guest count) will have a big impact on the ultimate locations we choose.

Very excited to have at least "sort of" nailed it down. DF is not comfortable committing right now with everything going on at work...he wants to make sure things are more settled and that our schedule is a little more manageable before we add the pressure and expense of wedding planning to our plates...little does he know I've planned about 5 different weddings at Disney (on paper) over the last 2 years WAITING for him to pop the question!!

2014 is quickly approaching and I thought it would be a great idea to have our own thread. If you are a 2014 bride please share your wedding details.. date of wedding, location, your plans, what your doing, and so on and so on. I look forward to hearing from all of you other future brides!

I am Danielle and our S/D wedding is planned for June 21st. We are in the early planning stages, however we are bursting at the seams with excitement!!!

They'll pencil you in 18 months out, but won't confirm the date until 12 months out. Seems a little silly to me.

Hello 2014 brides!

I got engaged in Be Our Guest on 12/21/12 and am happy to be planning a Disney Escape wedding along with you all! We are from the UK so a small wedding with immediate family is the plan, we are hoping for the end of February at Sea Breeze Point and then a nice meal and hopefully a dessert party. If the timing works well we will be able to squeeze in a week cruise for our honeymoon yay!

Have already been getting so excited looking at our options and I am obsessed with Pinterest for ideas! Looking forward to planning with you all.
