Hoping to take my three DDs (3,4, and 9) for makeovers in October, my niece (14) is also coming on the trip as well and would dearly love to have a princess makeover to.
Has anyone done BBB with an older girl and how did they find it, I'm sure in the past I have seen photos of adults getting them done so pretty sure it is allowed, but just wondered if they are able to make it as special for older kids as they do the little ones.

Per the Disney website in the "Know Before You Go" area of the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, guests must be between 3 and 12. Sorry!

The upper age limit is 12, you definitely haven't seen adults having this done. Disney don't want their younger guests confusing adult guests with the real face characters. Sorry.

Just to clarify the upper age limit went into effect a couple years ago so the op could have seen adults doing bbb and pictures of it on the Internet.

Really I'd didn't know that sorry. I haven't ever seen an adult in there personally in the last 8 years. I just assumed the age limit had always been there, my bad.

Depending on what you want to spend, you could send her off to one of the salons, even if she just gets her hair done in a simple style and her nails done. She might feel left out if everyone else can get it done.

You could take her to the barbershop on Main Street and they will do color and sparkles.....even on adults. My 13 year old loves to get a hair wrap on our trip so that may be agin option. Now she has her eye on a henna tattoo.....not sure if we are going to let her do this one. But the hair wrap is always a highlight because it lasts for a few weeks at home and she can show her friends.

The barbershop on main street offers colored hair gel and glitter/pixie dust for a small cost. It is a lot of fun and just perfect for a 14 year old. While it is not the same as BBB, it is still a new experience for her??

Thanks for the replies.
Just checked and the age restrictions came into force a month after we left last time. Glad I wasn't going mad thinking I'd seen photos of bachelorette parties coming through bbb.
The salon idea is a good one. Do remember pamper days for teens to the Saratoga springs spa (although that may have changed again). Just have to break the news to her now.

Had already planneds for the barber shop the first day. We had that for my dds last time and I was very impressed.
She may do the pirates league, will check that out properly when I get back to a PC.

Not sure if they are doing color again at the barbershop. They had discontinued it due to not being able to get the gel from the manufacturer anymore.
