Where is a good place to eat at cocoa beach/port canaveral?

We will be at the four points Sheraton without a car.

Any recommendations? We are not really into chain restaurants.

We will try pretty much anything.
Thx
Teddy

The two above are very good.
We've also eaten at Zacharys, near Country Inn & Suites,on A1A and have eaten while sitting at the octagon shaped bar at Cocoa Beach Pier(near the hot dog stand) .;)

You are in luck! In the Four Points is The Shark Pit Grill. Excellent wood fire pizza!!!! The other suggestion of Fish Lips and Grills is 100% right, but you will definitely need transportation to get there. If you cross the street and walk a little ways up the Causeway you will find Florida Seafood. VERY popular place. Rock shrimp is very good!!! Website is http://www.floridas-seafood.com/. Sunset Grille next door to Florida Seafood. Food ok, but terrific views of river.

Out of all the restaurants, I would take a taxi to the Port and eat at Grills. Great outdoor area, cool place to see the cruise ships go out, and live music ( plus food is very good)!!!

Have fun!!!

Much love and thanks!

Keep the recommendations coming guys. :)

We really liked Jack's Grilling Shack. Super delicious & large portions. We stayed at the country inn & it was right on the main drag. We picked it because it had good reviews on yelp.

We've stayed at the the 4 Points and liked it quite a bit. It is less than 2 blocks to the ocean and there is plenty to do in the area. We will be there later this week and plan on trying Sand Bar Sports Grill which looks like it is about a couple of blocks to the north. Here is the address:

4301 Ocean Beach Blvd
Cocoa Beach, Florida

Last year we ate at the hotel restaurant and it was very good.

There is also an Irish bar near the Walgreens across the street called Nolans Irish Pub that has food. I would like to try that out sometime.

Enjoy your cruise!

Mike

When we cruise out of PC, it's always Fish Lips for us. Our kids refuse to believe we're going on a cruise unless we eat there!!

We are locals so some of our favorite places to go besides the ones mentioned
are Boston Beefs, which you can walk to from your hotel, and Simply Delicious which has awesome food and desserts. It's a little bit farther down next to the Quiet Flight surf shop. If you get the chance definitely check it out for breakfast, you won't be sorry.

When we are in Coco we like Boston Beef and Seafood. I like the seafood, DH likes the roast beef sandwiches.

I definitely agree with PP about Fishlips, LOVE it!! We also really like Thai Thai III for really good sushi and Kelsey's Pizzeria :goodvibes

You rock Mumford.

Is there a place to rent poles and fish that is close to four points?

Thanks Eggroll, happy to help. I believe you can rent fishing gear at the cocoa beach pier, which is very close to where you will be. Jetty park rents fishing gear and A1A beach rentals rents anything you could possibly want that is beach related. I think they will even deliver stuff to you. There is also the Cocoa Beach Trolley that takes you up and down A1A that is $1, kids and seniors are .50 and kids under 5 are free. This will broaden your horizons on where you can go. I hope you have a wonderful vacation!!
