I think that you mean the actual FE! You could use whatever you want. You could take a plastic bag, or a reusable bag and make it personal with some markers. You can have someone make you one, they sell many amazing one that are really personlized on Etsy (look for gradysmom) . Or you can have whatever you can think of, many like something with a pouch for everyone in the stateroom. I have gotten a kind of organizer with 3 pouches that I will mark with our names and some caracters, one each for DSs and me and DH shares one.
Google for some images or look at some threads here on DIS and you will get many ideas!

I wanted to share one of the items I have just created for our upcoming cruise FE. I am not very crafty, so I created a "survival kit". It includes two mickey mouse bandaids, two small Neosporin packets, some rubber bands, some post it notes, a highlighter, some safety pins and some WetOne Wipes. I also created a little poem that is VERY dumb and doesn't rhyme.... but I'll post it after the pictures...

We know this gift is boring, but oh so practical,
Perhaps you won’t have to use it, but we hope it’s so helpful.

Mickey Bandaids to help boo-boos, if you happen to fall down,
And antibiotic cream too, so you don’t have a frown.
*
Sanitizer Wipes for your hands, for when they get icky,
Safety Pins and Rubber Bands, if your situation gets sticky.

The Post-it notes’ for messages to leave your family,
And the highlighter is for you to Navigate a fun activity.
*
Pardon our horrendous poetry, and our really bad rhymes,
But on this cruise we know that all will have Fantastic times.

Right now, Yankee candle has their semi annual sale going one. Some of the car air fresheners are included in the 75% off making 3 packs $1.50. These are great for the bathrooms on the cruise! I'm not participating in our group exchange but would have bought up a bunch of the "clean cotton" to give out if I was. It is a nice fresh smell and great for a bathroom :-) and at .50 each, a great price!

Thank you so much!!! I just ordered enough for my cruise!!!! Thank you for that awesome suggestion!!

Well, don't read any further if you are sailing on the Fantasy Jan 5th...

I had silicone bracelets made that read "Disney Fantasy 2013" on the outside and "when you wish upon a star... Dreams come true!" on the inside. We're not the craftiest and I love how they've turned out..

Hi, I'm in a FE for September cruise there are over 30 cabins. Mostly adults. The last time I did one there was only 8 cabins. I'm over welmed with this many.

There are a lot of requests for no candy. I said send it too my cabin:rotfl2:.

I have a few things in mind. I not crafty at all.:lmao:.

One person one cruise they got a much of junk:confused3. They gave nice handmade items.
I play the game my name is Jimmie I take what you give me:rotfl2:

Any ideas would be helpful.
TIA

I'm not cruising for over a year, but am already thinking about FE gifts should our meet group decide to do it. I have a long list of creative ideas! It looks like so much fun! Thanks for all the inspiration presented here!

My husband and I are traveling alone to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. The kids were more than a little disappointed to learn that we were going on a Disney cruise without them! haha! (we have a trip to the parks planned to make up for it :) ). I was wondering if it would be inappropriate when we sign up for the exchange to ask for FE gifts for our kids rather than get any gifts for ourselves ... just so we could have some fun treats to present them with upon our return home?

For anyone that did the survival kit
What all did you put in it?
I have this
zip lock with band aids, rubber bands, paper clips, zip ties, safety pins, etc
But, did you put anything else in it too?

I am adding post-its, Chapstick, shout wipes, and possibly a few other items.

Hoping to get this thread going again!

Quick question, are mini beach balls and other small pool toys allowed on the ship? I keep reading conflicting info.

Thanks!

I don't think so. Too much danger of them going overboard. And the pools are really too small for that sort of play.

This is from the DCL website

Question
What items are not permitted on board?
Answer
In order to maintain a safe and secure environment for our Guests and crew, the following are examples of items that Guests are not allowed to bring on board. These and other similar items will be confiscated upon being found.
•Kites, balloons, surfboards, wave boards, inflatable floats/pools (including pool noodles), and wagons

I've read posts on here from multiple people who have given mini beach balls without issue.

Hmm...This is something that would go well with what we have planned, and is well within my resources.

You already inspired something with a magnet that sticks to the wall, and a little "springy" coil like you might find on a keychain attaching to the card. But the exact shape, size and material of the card puzzle me.

Would a laminated business card work? Or does it have to be something like a credit card with the mag strip?

Anything that is stuck in there works - the room steward had the privacy hanger stuck in there upside down one day when he was working in there. We often use old WDW cards, a library card from your local library - does not have to be a magnetic card or your KTTW

I was thinking of buying pirate eye patches as our FE gifts....good idea or bad? Thanks
