Hi everyone! Im hoping someone can help me with a couple of my questions :)
I want to do an escape wedding at sea breeze point. I am curious about the cake cutting- where exactly does that happen? is it outside? in the gazebo or by it? Has anyone done it- how does the transition work?
I can't visualize the day and am trying to.
Aby help would be great! Thanks!!

Most of the time they set up the cake table in the gazebo off to the right side (as you face the water). I've also seen it set up on the lawn. I'll see if I can dig up some pictures.

Here you go...

This is where they set up the tables to sit and eat the cake and drink the champagne...

Thank you so much for the pictures! They were really helpful! Does anyone know if chair and/ tables are included? From what I've been able to research it looks like they aren't, but I've seen upgrades and of course decorations, but I wasn't sure if there were any standard chairs or tables included.
Also do you know where transportation drops you off at for a sea breeze point ceremony? I hear its a long walk on the board walk and there isn't a lot of parking and Im trying to figure out the best way to get everyone there.
Thanks again for your help!!

To be honest, I can't remember about the tables and chairs...my mind is a vacuum on some of this stuff...
As far as transportation goes....it depends, we were staying at BWI, so any of our family who were not, used our limo and they were all brought to BWI, then they all walked to Sea Breeze Point from there (it wasn't that far, a nice stroll really) and me and my MOH were in the Vintage Ford...
I'm not sure about parking as all of our guests were staying on property and didn't have cars..I'm sure someone else will be able to answer you more completely than me! :thumbsup2

Parking at the resorts is free. Your guests could park at Beach Club or BoardWalk and just tell the guard at the gate that they're attending a wedding. (Disney will probably have them all meet at BoardWalk Inn and walk down to Sea Breeze Point together.)

ok, I think....I THINK....the tables and chairs were included....do not keep me to this...I did have to pay for the chair covers....

I really can't remember 100%, but I kind of remember the actual tables and chairs being included....

Again, another SBP bride (or Carrie) will probably have better info.

Thanks so much guys! I will be there in June and will be able to gauge the walk better than, I had just read a couple places it was a really long walk and was worried.
The vintage ford tho- or I guess the other upgraded transportation options- can they drive on the boardwalk? Where were they able to drop you off? That sounds neat unless it was just too the BWI and we plan on staying there.
Thanks!

tee hee....brings back such great memories! Thanks Carrie! Yes, all, that was how happy I was when I spotted Carrie on the BW after I heard someone yelling my name! LOL....

Yes, the Vintage car can drive on the BW, however, I'm not sure of any of the other upgraded transportation....I'm thinking not though...

Thanks for the help! I was also wondering if you could tell me more about the cake cutting/ toast part. I feel a little better now that I know where it is! lol and from what Iv read the violinist stays for that correct? do you know with any you've seen or been to if people dance?? like the traditional ones- father/daughter, etc.
I also want to have characters - I know the come for about half an hr and can't be there when alcohol is there and the cake/ toast part lasts for about an hr- it's still workable to have character there correct?
Thanks again!!

Yep, the violinist stays for cake cutting/toasting part.

We only danced with each other and.....the mice! (My father is deceased, so we skipped the father/daughter and mother/son part).

Yes, whichever character(s) you want, they stay for 30 mins...it seems like longer though for us! (I almost think they did stay a bit longer LOL). They do the cake cutting with you, we danced and took lots of pics with them...
