We have stayed at POR twice and liked the food court there but were wondering if the food court at POFQ was the exact same thing. We thought if it's different then maybe one day on our trip we would walk over and eat there for a change.:mickeybar

There are a few different options at POFQ ( like beignets) but the food court at POR is much bigger and has a much better variety of entrees and grab n go items. Although I love the POFQ resort, I prefer the food court at POR.

Why do you love the POFQ resort more than POR?

I found there were different options at the food courts from POR to pofq. The beignets as mentioned are fantastic, I think the have banana foster, POR has make your own spighetti, pofq does not. I would check it our for an option. We use to get off at pofq after the park, buy beignets for breakfast and then take the boat back to POR. One day we walked down to eat lunch. The atmosphere at pofq is small and queint, I personally don't enjoy the food court more, I hate the cheesy big hats and stupid things hanging, very cheap looking but then again I'm blind so can see them anymore. But it is quieter, and more peacefull than POR so it is a good change of pace. Look at all ears for a menu to both and compare, but for a change of pace, we always do it once or twice and plan to again.

We preferred to stay at POFQ also but prefer POR food court choices. (Except for DD, who could only get chocolate chip pancakes at POFQ.) We have taken walks from one resort to another just for this reason, to POFQ for breakfast and to POR for dinner.

Not the same thing at all. They have different offerings food wise in POFQ, but the food court is very small. We have enjoyed both resorts, but one of the reasons we love POR more is because of the big open food court.

We love POFQ for it's small size (nothing is very far from anything else) and that they are the first bus stop, so you normally always get a seat. However, we much prefer PORS's food court. PORS probably has the best food court of any WDW resort.

How long of a walk is it between the two food courts?

It's usually a 15-20 minute walk for us walking a leisurely pace. It's a nice walk along the riverbank. We usually made the trip at night after returning from a park. You will typically see the boats making trips between the two resorts and DTD, and occasionally people in surrey bikes or the horse and carriage.

My son loves chocolate chip pancakes. Are they Mickey-shaped ones? Either way, we will now probably go to POFQ for breakfast and POR for dinner too:thumbsup2
