How much of a walk from POR Royal rooms to the POFQ pool?

We will be staying at a royal room at POR but we feel that our 7 year old son would like that pool at POFQ better with the slides etc... How much of a walk would it be?

POFQ isn't that far from the Royal Room's at POR. You'd be looking at maybe 5 minutes (depending on how fast you walk). Honestly, if you're located at Parterre it may not be that much farther than the walk to POR's Old Man Island. This pool, by the way, also has a slide. It's only the quiet pools that do not. There are also little fountains of water that our son loved. We looked at POFQ pool, but liked POR's better.

I actually am a grown up that still does slides! The one at POR is bigger. I also find pool at FQ cooler temps than POR. Anyways I walked from FQ to POR last year. 10-12 min fast walkers, 15-20 leisurely. Similar walk from CR to MK. Nice and flat and beautiful. Enjoy your trip!

I took DS 13 and friend and deliberately picked POR for pool area. Looks like Huck Finn should be hanging our there, very boy themed. Try both and see what he loves? I bet he likes both!
