Checking into Poly CL on Saturday for one night before our Disney Dream Cruise! Never got an email from IPO and didn't except to get one since we're only staying for one night and already have our ADR made..unless they can swing a surprise BOG ADR instead..but I doubt it haha. Looking forward to seeing the new rooms and Wishes from the lounge!

Have a great time! If you really want an ADR for BOG I would email or call IPO. You never know right.:goodvibes

Let us know how your trip went.

I am so not feeling the love from Poly IPO this year. :rolleyes2 I emailed them about the questionnaire. I get an email that they don't know what I'm talking about. The only one they have asks about dining requests and since I already made my own it isn't relevant. I responded that every other time I've had to fill one out about my party, special requests, flight info, etc. I hope I get someone who knows what's going on tomorrow.

Isn't there just one questionnaire that in addition to dining requests asks about flights, celebrations, etc. that's what I got from both WL and GF. Maybe that's what confused the IPO.

That's the one they emailed me for Poly IPO after I booked and emailed them to let them know when we were staying. It had a cover letter introducing themselves then the sheets to fill out contact info, travel info, ADR requests, special celebrations, etc. I filled it out, called to provide credit card info for certain ADRs and on my 180 day mark they made all my ADRs at the times I wanted.

Yes, but there's really nothing to confuse them. They still need my information. They just don't need my ADR requests.

I booked on Sunday and haven't heard anything yet. Should I be hearing from IPO by now or wait til my trip is closer? I don't need any ADR's but we will be celebrating some special occasions.

According to the IPO I emailed, they contact you 10 days prior to your 180-day mark.

I'm at 130 so not sure if they are going to contact me or not.

I'll wait and contact them closer to my vacation.

I emailed BC IPO right after I booked with my last name and conf number. They then emailed me a packet to fill out and send back to them. The packet asked for information about my party, dining res, flight info, Magical express and any other special requests.

Does anyone know how often appetizers change? If we are at ycclub for 6 nights, will we be seeing same thing twice...I'm hoping to try lobster salad and it would figure that that we wont be there the one night they serve it.

Hot appetizerssome salads/some fruits/some beverages change daily- with usually a weekly rotation. Most hot appetizers are some kind of dumpling. Other items stay the same from day to day: cold veggie trays, oatmeal, apples. There is a third cetegory of items- like cheese trays. They serve cheese trays at all resorts daily, but the selection of cheeses varies. I have no idea what type of rotation is used for cheese. It changes, but y-know, sometimes it's hard to tell one white cheese from another. There's also a certain selection of fresh fruit. My guess is they serve what they have. Again, there is some variation- pineapple, melons, berries, grapes, and some repeating.

There are also times when an item runs out before the appetizer hour is over, and they will sub in something different.

Last summer, the lobster salad was either on Wednesday or Thursday. I'm 70% confident it was Thursday, and 100% confident it was one of the two days. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the heads up on this. This is our first stay at CL at WL. I am very much an over planner and wake up at 5:15 to make sure I am up to get my adr's done. With all the problems I have been reading about I emailed my form over the weekend and called today to give cc number. They confirmed everything with me and told me it might take them a day or so to get back to me after my 180 day window (which is Saturday). I am stressing right now as to whether I should pull it from them or leave it be.

I totally know how you feel. I like to be in control so if something goes wrong, I know why. However, we have stayed CL several times. Specifically last two trips at WL CL. We have never had a problem, at all. The only issue is when we book within the 180 days and have to make a few adjustments for what is actually available.

Our next stay is in June at BWI (because we got a really good discount on deluxe room). We booked within the 180 days, got all ADR's we wanted. Even changed some several weeks later and got what we wanted.

The IPO's are very good at what they do. They have to tell you it takes a few days to get back to you, but I would put money on them emailing you on Saturday.

I vote for you to leave it be. I think most here would advise the same.

Keep us informed and I hope you have a wonderful vacation.

Thanks, I emailed them yesterday and got a response pretty quickly. They sent me the packet with all the info they need.

What do you do with your used plates after eating in the lounge?

Last year we stayed club level at BC for the first time. We asked a cast member where we should put our dirty plates and we were told not to worry and leave them there.

I felt like such a slob just getting up and leaving my mess behind. Is this the right thing to do or was the CM just being polite?

I had the same concerns at AKL. I usually put them on the flat area of the trash. Several times I had CMs take them from me as I walked up. They did clear the table one day when I left my DDs (12 and 7) w/ my brother. I had to take DS to the lav, and we had a few empty plates. We also had my BRAND NEW FRESH mimosa. They came by and said they couldn't have alcohol with only minors at the table. My brother said 'ok' and helped them clear--- the catch? He's 22!! I didn't let him live that one down. :)

What is your experience with having IPO get you tickets for a hard ticket event? I would like to go to MNSSHP and the tickets won't be out until May. I was hoping IPO could deal w/ that.

Ouch that must have hurt being told you are a minor at 22 and not correcting them.

Thanks for your input on the subject.

At both the YC and BC that's basically what we were told as well. And I did feel bad just getting up and leaving a mess. At the Poly and AKL there was definitely a place near the trash where we could bus our dishes. I'm pretty sure there was a spot at the GF, too. I think it just depends on the setup of each individual lounge.

This aspect is always a bit of confusion for us as well. It sems like at CR (this may change after the current remodel), the norm was for folks to put them on one of the trays that are out, and ain a certina area. CM's are quick ot remove them. At GF, folks did put them near the trash, but I was told I did not need todo that- as in please just leave them on the table. I think the CM's want to make sur they wipe down tables after folks are done, and seeing dishes lets them nkow they need to wipe. The downside, is that if you leave your plates unattended- even if they have food - for any length of time- staff will clear them and another guest may swoop in to steal your seat. That's happened to me when I tried to get more coffee, or even just some silverware! pirate:

It seems to me, that it is often a matter of CM preference.

Thanks mmmears and mickeyluv'r for your input.

I guess it is a CM preference. I'll look around to see what the majority of others are doing and follow their lead. Or I'll just ask again so I feel better about my decision.

At BW CL there is a round cloth covered table where many guests place their dirty dishes. It is regularly cleared by CM's. It's not hard to miss, as you walk in it's slightly ahead and to your left.
