Favorite disney song?

Do park soundtracks count?! Lol! If so, the Move It Shake It Celebrate it, or the Adventureland loop music!

Otherwise, Friend Like Me from Aladdin, or anything Beauty & the Beast!

When I was growing up as a kid it was 'Cruella deVille" , but during the silver age of Disney animation, Beauty and the Beast was just fantastic. I'd say it's a tie between 'Belle" where she is introduced and 'The Mob Song (Kill the Beast', although I probably have not named those songs correctly, I hope you know what I mean.

Can you feel the love tonight- from the Lion King...I tired to get my husband to have it as our first dance, as you can guess I lost. We also didn't go to WDW for our honeymoon. But we have been there since and two more trips planned!!

My favorite Disney song BY FAR is Part of your World! What about you?

So many to choose from!!! As far as the movies, I agree with you, Part of Your World. As far as the attractions I go with Grim Grinning Ghosts. As far as parades and fire works I go with the Illuminations theme. BTW, when you go through customs they have the Illuminations theme as part of a video telling you how to speed the customs process. (At first I thought my Disney obsession had me hallucinating):rotfl:

Oh it's just sooo hard to pick. I love almost anything Alan Menken has done for Disney, and he's done so much. I'll just pick two from him and two other favorites.

"Kiss the Girl" - Little Mermaid (love the movie and all the music too)

"That's How You Know" -- Enchanted (OMG - I think of that song and want to dance every time I'm in Central Park)

"Zippity Do Dah" -- from Song of the South (The movie was a real sleeper, though. Don't know what all the fuss is about racial issues with it, as I'm be surprised if anyone could make it through seeing the whole thing without dozing off. I never saw it as an adult though. Just saw it as a kid.) The song, though, is a classic.

"He Mele No Lilo" -- Lilo and Stich (That great song sung by that Hawaiian kid's choir.) And getting Wynonna Judd to sing Burning Love was brilliant in that movie. I love her version -- like it so much better than the Elvis's classic hit version.

I am sooo glad they are playing some of their great music in their parks and incorporating it into their attractions.

"In These Hills". That whole sequence used to creep me out as a child. Now I chuckle when I see it for the tongue-in-cheek way it is performed. Brilliant.

A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes - can't explain it, just love the melody.

And as for park music, the score to SOARIN' is absolutely incredible. It is played VERY often in my car.
