Good Morning!!! It's Friday!!!

So much to get done this morning!! OH my word.. the list is a mile long...and I've been up and movin' since 6:30am non-stop...

The rest of the day will consist of:

DS16 to school (his car needs repaired so he is borrowing sis car)
drop DS12 off to school
DD and I are taking a day out (shopping for her needs and our needs)
DD and I out to lunch (need to discuss some upcoming events and plans - I want her to be involved during the summer helping prep for DS16's senior year... she confessed that she is not happy being away for his senior year...and she is trying to talk him into going to school down w/ her and her roommate so they can get an apt together.. LOL I say, campus housing he can come visit!)
home to watch alma mater in 2nd round of their tournament (Let's go RED!)

take DD to work (DS16 will bring her home as they work together again today)
pick up DS12 from practice
await DH, DD and DS16 to get home
dinner
enjoy last family night together
... DD is going back to campus on Saturday since she has a Chemistry midterm next week... (her chem prof actually sent homework home that is due today... kids were on spring break, thought that meant no assignments.... she texted or facebooked her sorority sisters.)

I hope everyone has a great day!!!
Prayers and pixie dust to all!
I hope those under the weather are recovering soon..

TGIF!!

What is it with teachers & homework over/due during breaks? Do these people have NO lives or are they just miserable & want eveyone else to be as well? DS12 has also had homework over every break this year, including Christmas break. After his past break, he had 2 tests.....ummm, yeah, that was GOOD planning. Everyone knows 12 year old spend their week off studying for major math & science tests! I could see if their plans had gotten pushed back by unexpected days off like snow days, but nope none of those! Ok, off my high horse now.

Today is clean the cupboards day! Yay! So exciting, I may just try to put it off until tomorrow! LOL!
I also need to change bedsheets again! (Never ending!)
And put laundry away (also never ending!)

I also need to call my friend & ask what is going on with her son. He has been giving my son a hard time for a few weeks now, but this week he has taken my son's lunch everyday & taken out for himself what he wants first & won't give it back to DS. Yesterday, was his drink & DS was upset because pb&j really needs a drink! This has been ongoing for the entire year & I am tired of it. I have hinted around, but I need to say, yea, it's your kid. Ugh, fun never ends around here!

Happy weekend! Thanks for the vent- I feel better now. Off to face Friday!

:badpc::badpc::badpc::badpc::badpc::badpc::badpc:

I've had it. Can't get it to do much of anything now and I don't know if the discs I have will work for a restore. Stick a fork in me, I'm D.O.N.E.

Hope everyone has a much better day than me!

Happy Friday!

Prayers and pixie dust to all those in need.

Nan, enjoy the shopping and lunch!

dsneprincess, hope you get the lunch resolved. That is so unfair and must be so frustrating for your DS.

Jennifer, Hope you get the computer issue resolved.

Been a busy morning so far, meetings and phone calls.
Still left:
once over kitchen, I can't find the counter!
:laundy:

hopefully work on AK swap
dinner lemon chicken

Hope everyone has a great day!

I totally hear you! DS8 came home from school yesterday with a note from the teacher saying he needs a Benjamin Franklin costume for their History Heroes Tea on March 25th. R U KIDDING ME? This isn't a project for a second grader.....its a project for mom! And could you give me a little more notice? I mean 10 days.....sure, we have nothing else going on in our lives :furious::furious: Can you tell I'm a little angry over this? Can't even order any accessories online because the chances of getting them in time are slim to none! I'm so furious.....I mean, really.....we had nothing better to do this weekend than to spend it making a costume he will wear once. And don't get me started on having to tell him that Benjamin Franklin wore tights. Can you imagine his face when I tell him he needs to put on girls tights for the costume! My nice, quiet, no-demands weekend (which are very few and far between) where we were going to go to the movies and maybe out to dinner as a family has been shot to pieces.

Jennifer, I'm so sorry about the computer issues. Looks like its gonna be a long day for all of us!

Happy Friday!

Nan, enjoy your last evening with PJ home and your date with lunch and shopping!
Jen, hope the computer issue is fixed so you don't have to worry about it any more!
dsneprincess sounds like a little bully - does the school know what's going on? good luck talking with his mom
Cassey,good luck finding the counter
Danielle, that's a big project for only 10 days, hope you can figure out something!

Megan's thumb is starting to feel so much better, she actually took off her brace for a while last night...will see how it is after the weekend, but think she is almost healed!

P & PD to anyone in need

today:
work on SS & more swap
print off some bathroom faucets from HomeDepot for my mom (she doesn't have a computer) she's not finding what she wants in the stores
scrap a few pages - photos came yesterday!
p/u megan and Karlee at 130 early release day
mall with girls to look for swimsuit for megan
run up to my moms with faucets ideas
go to karlee's house for dinner - megan is spending the night
home to scrap or maybe watch a movie

hope everyone has a wonderful day!

awww so many awful things
computer, costume, kids
I hope everyone's day gets better

where did my week go?? I"m still working on golf doing up 5 paper peicings but made up 11 files :confused3
gotta recut one piece - I didn't realize I put the wrong size of paper on the mat yesterday:headache:
it is going to be 6 pages for each album so either one game of mini golf or several combine (got the papers cut for the LO)

Jennifer, so sorry about the computer issues... I sure hope you are able to get it resolved...

As for the stolen lunch.. that crap sets me off... I'd be telling DS that no more...next time thump him... I know, easier said then done because it would be DS that got reprimanded...but dang... he has a right to eat his own meal including his drink!! I know my DS will come home and tell me that so and so didn't have a meal because he forget his lunch money so gave him something from my lunch... The next day, I send something extra just incase.... but that just frustrates me... This kid is definitely a bully.. friends kid or not.. enough is enough.. good luck talking to the mom...

Oh my gosh... Danielle, that is awful.. wish we lived closer because I have free time this weekend and would help you get stuff together... but I do hope you record DS's reaction in regards to the tights... maybe you can look into those skinny leggings that the girls where now.. Walmart has them on sale for 5.00 - 7.00... PJ swears by them..but she does have an issue with people who do not pull their shirts/sweaters over top of them so they don't show their backsides.. LOL

Glad to hear Megan's thumb is feeling better, Lisa.. Hopefully, she is on the mend and she'll be an official lefty once more!!

Ok, I apologize in advance if anyone's windows are rattling.. I'm currently yelling at my alma mater to get their stuff together... I do think I'm going to start a clinic on rebounding and blocking out.. I think I can make the million dollar mark over the offseason!!! My gosh!! ERRR!!!

Found the counter!:rotfl2: I will be speaking with the other members of my house about putting things away in their correct homes and not leaving mail piled up, mama is not a happy camper!

Now to scrap!

Thanks for all the well wishes. Talk with the mom went better than I expected, so we will see. I would feel bad if this was a forgot my lunch/hunger issue....it's not. It has been full of I'm more popular than you, you shouldn't wear jeans because they aren't cool, etc. comments. Hopefully, it will be resolved for a little while anyway. I don't know if kid is having trouble at home, but I know enough to suspect that is a big part of it. (Mom is pretty clueless about how he is 3rd party in house; my house doesn't run like that!) My DS is very literal, tho, that you either are his friend & "like" him or you don't. No gray.

I can't believe the lack of notice on the Ben costume....ARE YOU SERIOUS?!? Should we all have no life for the next 10 days because some teacher didn't communicate enough prior notice?! Serious heart pounding, head thumping frustration! Good luck with that! LOVE the hilarity of you trying to explain to an 8yo BOY that he's going to have to wear TIGHTS! (I am picturing my DH reaction to that one! ROTFL!) Thanks for a little humor & smile to brighten my day. Still stinks to spend the weekend costuming Ben!
