Reviews?? I have never eaten here, nevet eaten German for that matter. What did u think about it.

Good food. Great theming. Periodic entertainment; nice if you have young kids who want to go jump around on the little dance floor and let off some energy (WHERE do they get it from?) while you sit and eat. Cool beer selections if an adult in the party is interested. Oddly enough, picky eaters mostly do very well at this buffet. If you are paying OOP, lunch is a good option; nearly all the same menu items as dinnertime but (for Disney) a significantly lower price.

We really liked Biergarten. There was a nice variety of food on the buffet. I thought it was better than most other buffets we've done. The atmosphere is fun and the kids had a great time dancing on the dance floor. The dance floor is in the middle with the table surrounding it, so we were able to hang out at the table and still keep our eye on the kids dancing to the live band.

One thing some people don't realize when they go here though is that the tables are long and seat about 8 people. If you have less than 8 people in your group they will seat you with other groups (like at Teppan Edo or other Hibacchi restaurants). We don't see this as a problem. It was fun. We were a group of 4 and were sat with 2 other groups of 2. We all chatted a little, but mostly just with our own groups. I see it as all part of the experience but have heard from others who didn't know this going in and didn't like the idea of sitting with strangers.

We ate there in October 2012. My 15 year old picked it, when we needed one more TS meal, and wanted to try someplace we hadn't been I was pleasantly suprised. The good was good ! Not all German food either, even my picky eater found more than enough!
And the entertainment was nice, make sure you get an ADR early enough because I think they stop the entertainment earlier than they stop taking ADRs.

I really liked Biergarten. I kind of went along with my family on this one, as it was not one of my choices on where to eat- I really don't care much for German food. I do have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. The food was good. The buffet had a good variety of things for everyone, and some really good desserts as well. There is fun, live entertainment that happens on and off. If you're in a party of less than 7 or 8 people it is very likely that you will be seated with another family or group as the smallest tables there are for 8 people. Even our group of 6 was seated with other people, so if this is a big issue you may want to reconsider. I wasn't thrilled about it, but it didn't ruin anything.

Another thumbs up from us! I had no idea what German food was and I really enjoyed our meal last June. In fact, we went back in December and ate there with the candlelight processional dining package for lunch. Enjoyed hearing about German Christmas from the entertainment. I love the pretzel bread and the fruit compote on the dessert section along with many other items. Friends of ours just ate there, they were a party of 4, and were seated at a table for 4 on the top section. We've only sat at the banquet tables for 8. Hope this helps!!

Another thumbs up from me! I ate there years ago and loved it! My husband can't wait to try it this trip. It's very "meat and potatoes" type food, which makes many happy.

We also love this place, fab atmosphere and our boys always find things that they love to eat! Plus dessert is amazing so much choice :)

DELICIOUS! We eat here every time we go to the World. My mother has allergies (milk, shellfish, tomato, peanuts) and they are more than able to accommodate her as well so it's very stress free! Totally recommend!

I would just add that while I like it there, they no longer really have any "children's" options (no more kids mac n cheese or chicken fingers and fries). Theres mac n cheese, but its like a gourmet thing, not really kid friendly. My 2 yr old isnt really that picky but she didnt eat much there.

I loved the communal seating and the atmosphere at biergarten. I liked the band as well. very entertaining. The food was decent, but not outstanding. If you havent been, i'd give it a try. I guess for me, once is enough...for now.

Delicious! I was so shocked. I thought I hated German food (bad experience with a saurbraten at a local German place a while back) but it turns out I don't! The food was hot, plentiful and delish! We made some neat friends at out communal table too. Will definitely be eating here again and again.

Ticky tocky ticky tocky!

Beiergarten is a MUST DO every time we go to Disney World. Wonderful food, great atmosphere with fun, live music. Very good German beer, too!
Hope you have a great time!

:goodvibes

Love it!! I've only been for lunch so I made an ADR for dinner on my next trip in May(for lunch too). I've been several times and have always enjoyed meeting new people at the table. Make sure you have a reservation during a time the band is playing and catch all of the polka fun. More cow bell!

The first question to ask is - do you eat meat (sausages, pork, beef)?
The second question to ask is - do you like to try new foods?

They have a variety of meats on the buffet, of course they have lots of cold salads, and side dishes. If you would like to try the buffet but want to spend less try it for lunch, it's cheaper than dinner.

We like German food, and all of our favorites are on the buffet. The potato dumplings are my favorite, spaetzle, potato salad, chicken schnitzel, bratwurst, sauerkraut, pretzel bread. Love the desserts too.

The restaurant is very pretty inside, the show is very entertaining, and if you are social you can chat with people next to you at the table. Overall, it's been a great time each time we have gone. ::yes::

Cool beer selections if an adult in the party is interested.

Just wanted to add a "secret" most people don't know about. If you can't finish your beer, you can get a "To Go" cup. Just ask your server. That's why we always order the big beer and then take the leftovers with us. Great way to watch Illuminations!

I liked biergrten. In my opinion the show was better than the food, but the food was fairly good. The show consists of german horns, cow bells, and other intruments. The food is german like sauerkraut, red meats, and potatoes. If you haven't gone I'd try it!!!

That is good to know!!!
