What's your favorite? Looking for a place, casual but yummy, different is always nice. We'll have a 4yr old and 1yr old with us. We do NOT want to do Rainforest, and probably not the Dinosaur restaurant either.
Suggestions? Go!

and thanks!

Planet Hollywood! We always go there! It's casual dining with normal food items on the menu, and the atmosphere is lots of fun with all the movie memorabilia hanging from the walls and ceiling!

Our favorite place at Downtown Disney is Cookes of Dublin, we go there a lot because the food is really good. I like the Shrimp and Chips or Fish and Chips. :) The food is made fresh to order. It's a small place, with counter service where they bring your food to the table, self service for drinks. There is a bar connected, the Hole in the Wall, where they have happy hour from 5-7.

We like Raglan Road but it's pricey, and often times is very busy and loud.

We had a bad experience at Portobellos.

It's been too long since we've had Planet Hollywood, Bongo's or House of Blues. We haven't tried Rainforest or T-Rex.

We had good luck at Earl of Sandwich, the food was good and was priced really reasonably, everything is about $6 (salads or sandwiches).

TS definitely Raglan rd. delicious food and great music and Irish dancing if you go later.
Earl of Sandwich or Wolfgang Puck in the marketplace for CS. I have gone to both many times and loved everything.

Our favorites in DTD are Portobello and Raglan Road. Always great food and service.

Our experience at Portobello was good, as well. Excellent service, fresh and tasty food, and reasonably priced. It's not quite as casual as, say, Raglan Road, but it's certainly not stiff nor formal, either.

Our favorite restaurant in DTD is Raglan Road. It is a beautiful restaurant that was built in Ireland, disassembled, shipped and re assembled in DTD. It has an extensive menu of really good food, the service is warm and friendly and the entertainment is fun.
Enjoy

If you didn't have young children, I would suggest that you go to Wolfgang Puck's Dining Room upstairs. With young children, I suggest the downstairs option. Their menu has quite a variety and we have always enjoyed everything we have tried. After that, we are big fans of Earl of Sandwich!

Wolfgang Puck is fantastic. When we went in 2011, my boys were able to make their own ice cream sundaes and the waiter took them behind the counter to add their toppings. Not sure if that was supposed to be part of the experience, but they LOVED it!

We had a great dinner at Portobello's, too, but I liked the food at WP better.

I would give Raglan Road a try. They have great service and we really enjoy their food as well. We will be eating there twice this year, once for lunch and once for dinner. If you are looking for CS, Wolfgang Puck Express is excellent.

Thanks everyone for the feedback.

I think we'll try Raglan Rd or Wolfgang's.

Cheers!

We always had a great meal at Paradiso 37 and of course Earl is always great.:cool1:

We also love Paradiso 37 as well. Not sure about going with very young children but depending on the time of year, you can ask for a table on the patio outside.

There are some lovely views of the lake from the patio and we've seen some spectacular sunsets from there. The music can be a bit loud inside sometimes though (that can work both ways when you have little ones, if you know what I mean:thumbsup2). On one of our visits we had an awesome table right by the outside patio where the sliding doors open. It was really nice. Feel free to check out our review with photos. Just click on the name above.

EOS is also another favorite for quick service.:goodvibes

You can't go wrong at either of these. Raglan is our favorite DTD restaurant by far. Great food and atmosphere. We also love Wolfgang Puck Cafe and also Wolfgang Puck CS.
