Three Broomsticks question

Hi! We are staying off site so we can not get the extra hour in the morning in WWHP. However, I know in the past we have done a Cinderella breakfast reservation at 8 am so that we are out of breakfast and into the Magic Kingdom a few minutes before MK opens. I am wondering if we could do a similar 8am reservation at the 3 Broomsticks. To get out of breakfast a few minutes before 9 when the crowd heads in. I have read that US on-site customers are the only ones who can make a breakfast reservation at TTB? Is that true?

You can only do breakfast reservations for Three Broomsticks if you have a Harry Potter package at an offsite hotel or are staying onsite.

Related question- is walk-up a possibility for breakfast at the Three Broomsticks? When we were there a couple of years ago, there was very limited availability for breakfast there unless you had reservations.

Has that changed or is it still pretty restricted for breakfast?

We are staying onsite, so it sounds like we could make reservations, but would prefer to play it by ear.

Thanks!

You can definitely try. It all depends on how many reservations they have.

We are staying at WDW and only going to USIoA for the day to visit WWoHP so we have no package deals. I have seen a lot of posts about only getting into TTBS if you have a package with an onsite resort. Do they take anyone for any of the meals? Or can you only eat there with package tickets?? :confused3

Anyone can eat there for lunch and dinner. It's only breakfast that is somewhat restricted, but you can always ask if they're accepting walk-ups.

We went this past October and ate twice without reservations and once with. There wasn't even a line to get in. We went for early entry and ate once the park officially opened. I will be making reservations for our upcoming trip, just in case! :thumbsup2

Thanks for the info!! I am glad we will get to eat there for lunch at least! :thumbsup2 So excited!!! pixiedust:

what is the earliest they will take reservations for?
i.e. if the park opens at 9, can you get in at 8 for breakfast? or is the first seating when they open?

i stay onsite and don't make ressies for the 3 B's.

i do eat there as a walk up.
i prefer going around 9ish instead of when they first open up.

you will see a TM with a clip board standing outside the entrance to the restaurant.

that is the person you go to for being on a wait list.
there are no shows and cancellations that are filled with the walk ups.

if you are not able to get a walk up for breakfast, try for the lunch/dinner time period.

Only slightly related question. How much fish is on the kids vs adult meal? My dd8 really likes fish and I'm trying to decide if 2 kids meals or 1 adult meal makes mores sense.
