Does BBB take more time at MK than DTD

We have done BBB three times before, but always at DTD. Each time we were impressed that we were in and out in less than an hour (usually 45 minutes). But everyone keeps talking about leaving 2 hours for the process...

Our next trip we plan on doing BBB at MK instead of DTD and wonder if there is just a longer time before your name is called or if it just takes longer there?

It's probably a bit more crowded/busy at the MK location that DTD on a given day.

We did this last week and it took roughly 2 hours starting from check in to complete finish of the photo shoot. We have 2 girls though who were nearly done at the same time, but not quite.

I was a bit disappointed that there was only 1 PP person for all the girls getting BBB'd - I thought we'd have a bit more PP pics of the process than we ended up with, but it didn't spoil the experience

two hours is such a time suck, but we will still do it

Our last DTD BBB was a slow day and we still had two PP photographers... I wish we were still doiong DTD, because I love the princess parade, but with only four park days this trip we just don't have an afternoon to spend there.

We always did MK at 8 AM for early park entry. We got photos on an empty Main Street on the way in and were always done by regular rope drop.

I think the time drain comes as they back up over the course of the day.

You can go play for a while and follow it up with late breakfast or lunch in the castle. It makes for a great day.

Does anyone know how long the crown package takes? (no photoshoot involved). We are bringing our own costume.

DD recently did the coach pkg at MK. Her appointment time was 4:10 pm, but we didn't check in until 4:20. We waited about 10 min to be called and were done by 5:00. We decided to check out the photo shoot and there was no wait, so we did it. We were done with that in less than 10 min. I was worried about having a later appointment, but it was not bad at all. DD had the fairytale princess style and I noticed other girls getting the pop princess style seemed to take longer.

this will be a great idea if we can get an 8am reservation Can I make this 180 days out from our resort stay, or just 180 days from the actual date? Wasn't sure if BBB was like ADRs...

You can do 180+10. It's by phone so though 7 AM eastern. Through the years my DD did BBB 6 times (once per year since they opened) and it was always early park entry. It's a win/win!

We did BBBlast Sumer appointment was at 10 am and all done by 10:30 at MK Next time I want to do the early morning one so we can get pictures in front of the castle with no crowd.

this makes me really nervous, we have a 1pm at BBB with a 2.05 at CRT (which I told them about when we booked). We are doing the crown package
