I can see how you would be disappointed. I know how hard you've been planning! Maybe instead of presenting it as we need to plan and do RD, etc., say let's plan to leave the hotel at X time and when you get to a park guide her in the direction you want. And maybe for the first day you can take it slow and as you go point out what would be if you did it a different way. Sometimes it's all in the delivery.

She is remembering a VERY different Disney and when she sees what it's like now she may realize your way is better.

Doesn't sound like whining at all! I'm definitely going "commando" on this trip (as much as my 1 year old will let me...) and my dad keeps telling me I don't need to plan so much. He hasn't been in almost 20 years, it's a different World!

Mom actually said "They haven't made the walk ways any wider, they can't fit any more people!" As in there will be the same crowds as there was when you were a kid..."Remember we would ride Thunder Mountain in the evening again and again?" Like that's gonna happen...I will try to guide her and see what happens, after all we will be in Disney and that will be the BEST even if it's in a long hot Disney line. LOL

My BFF may be backing out of our trip. The cast was supposed to be Me, DD15, BFF and her DD14.

BFF's DD14 has not been keeping up with her school work (a part of the deal to go) so she is probably not going. BFF hasn't been in a few years and has said she still wants to go even if her DD has to stay behind with dad. Now she seems to be waivering on if she is definitely going or not.

I would LOVE for her to go with DD and I, however I will still have a WONDERFUL time with just my DD and I. My DD15 is the biggest Disney fan (besides myself) in my home. She is over the moon excited about mother/daughter time in our favorite place.

So I am rambling on to say that my trip may be evolving from it's original plan.....but I am still excited!!!

I just changed our dates to August 22-30! So happy to be adding on another night and to be back in the August planning group! We're staying at POR. I'm booking ADR's now. So far have:
Aug. 23- 8:45 Ohana
Aug24-8:55 bibbidi bobbidi boutique
Aug 24-4:45 Cindy's Royal table
Aug 25 9:05 tusker house
Aug 26 8:45 chef mickeys
Aug 28 5:45 1900 park fare

I still have 2 table service left. Any suggestions?

Can you tell we like breakfasts? I'm worried we'll miss rope drop though...

How about Hoop Dee Doo Revue as a 2 credit? Are you eating in Epcot? We like Coral Reef and Via Napoli. We are trying Cape May this time too. We love Turf Club if you are interested in visiting SSR.

I have an ADR on the 1st page for Aug 28 8am that says Trails end but should be 1900 Park Fare. And I added a Rainforest ADR for 8/28 at noon.
I don't know how you handle all the changing SenecaWolf!

They are the symbol that you are a DISer while in the parks. You can attach one to your bag or stroller while in the parks.

We have never done the BYBBQ, but I am reluctant in the August heat, since it is outside. 2 credits are great to use, especially if you arrive late or leave early on one of your trip days. It is better than 2 ts on one day imho.

Now in all seriousness - why would you not do 2 TS in one day? Just curious as we have 2 days of 2 TS.
