YAY!!!
Thank you
YAY!!!
DD's Wish trip cruise was officially approved, so we'll be staying at Pop after it - 4/18-25
Yeah $30 is the CM price...since DD is a CM that's what it cost to add to my room for this trip. Those CM discounts can really spoil you!!!! I can't believe my room is only $58 a night! This is the cheapest trip I've ever taken to Disney...LOL! And since I have an AP, I don't need a ticket! My airfare is costing 2/3 of what I'm paying for my hotel! Crazy, huh??
I remember the DDP back then!! We saved our dining receipts... I paid $1880 for our trip (free dining for a family of four) and we spent $2230 in food! That was a deal!! Loved the dining plan so much better back then!!
Just come back from our 2 weeks first stay at pop. What a fab time!!! We even got our room request of lakeside 4th floor, and had the 60's building!! Perfect location for us right on the end too!! The staff were so friendly my son even got balloons for his birthday!! Everything was so clean and my sons loved the hippy dippy pool and table tennis. The only trouble is we are now infected with disney magic and want to go back!!
Coaliesquirrel said:We're at POP now and have a hot pink (easy to find!) umbrella stroller we'd like to leave behind, as DD is 5.5 and it's doubtful we'll be able to talk her into it (or that she'll fit!) anywhere else. It'll have 10 days of WDW under its belt, but very little other use. We check out March 5th and would like to leave it at the desk with the name of someone who will check in ideally within a week of that time, but for sure within two weeks, as I believe that's the longest they'll hold items for coming guests.
To "apply", please reply on the list with your email or textable phone number so that we can contact you for the details we need to make arrangements. We've not had great internet service, so it may be a day or two before we get back to you, but we'll do our best to keep an eye on this thread as much as we can.

I'm heading to Pop on May 18th for a seven day stay. This will be my 5th stay at Pop, I've been twice with DD21, once with DW,DSIL,DD28,DGD7,DGD3, and once with DW,DS, and DGD3. The only constant is me(coincidence? Probably not). We've been in the 50's,60's,70's and 90's, with never a bad room. The staff has been consistently excellent.
In May, I'll have yet another assortment. It'll be me, DGD7, DGD3, DD21, sister, and nephew 14. We'll be celebrating DGD's 4th birthday, and couldn't want a better place to celebrate. If you see a 60year old guy surrounded by a gaggle of young people, say Hi!
Just back from a great trip to PoP! The CM's were so friendly - some of the best, I think. Our room was clean, and at check-in, the cm went out of her way to meet my request AND get us an available room. We checked in at about 11 a.m., and I wasn't expecting our room to be available. But we were so tired from an early flight. I asked if our room was ready, and she felt so sorry for us that she found us a different room (but in the same requested section) that was ready. It was such a great start to a wonderful stay!
I also noticed that the cm's in the food court were friendly and patient despite some rude guests. Some of the cms were a little slow and sort of unconcerned at the food stations, but I they were nice .
I also thought the cms in the gift shop and at bell services were particularly Disney-like. I love the moderates, but I can tell you, these cms were amazing and overall very wonderful.
Fabulous!! Very happy for you all!
I am enjoying reading this POP thread! Brings back memories of past visits...but now it has been a few years.
My question is about the value resorts (spec. POP) mini fridges they had installed this last year. Can anyone please describe exactly how big they are can a few 1/2 gallon jugs of juice/milk/pop fit? Any info or pics would be great! Thank you!
My second question is about the parking lot that connects with AOA. Can you actually drive from the Little Mermaid side of AOA over to Pop's parking lot by the golden years (I think) or is there a dividing concrete boulevard/wooded area?
So excited for Friday.....WDW/POP here we come.

Shoot, I didn't drive over there during my visit to AoA last week, but from looking at the maps I'm trying to figure out how the 50's and LM parking lots could possibly be blocked...I suspect they connect and you can drive that way.
Once you enter the Pop property there is nothing to keep you from walking over to AoA, so I think driving between the parking lots must be open too.
Another fridge question...Wondering about keeping ice frozen or the ability to re-freeze. Would like to use those reusable freezer sticks to put in water bottles for our July trip.
There is no freezer section, it is only a fridge.
Thanks for the quick response...suppose we could get ice in our water bottles from the food court before heading out for the day...or just buy a cold water in the parks when we need one
