Best off-site mini golf?

Hopefully she'll post here with her recommendations, but I do remember Gina-Gina-Bo-Bina reviewed some mini golf places in these two trip reports.

(this second one is older and missing a lot of the pictures :sad1: -- but she suggests some mini golf deals there and I think she said which one is her favorite)

Awesome! Thank you.

OP - onsite minigolf is a lot of fun...not your original question, I know...we had a blast at Pirates Cove Kissimmee as well though

The two they opened at Universal are awesome. I know you said off-site, but Winter Summerland can't be beat at DW. Especially in cooler weather. Fabulous theming there. And for offsite: Pirate's Cove is solid.

Hey there OP and shalom! :wave2:

For offsite mini golf, we have done the Pirates Cove, Congo River, Hawaiian Rumble, Volcano Island, and Gator Golf courses.

Our favourites (and our recommendations) in order are:

1. Pirates Cove and Congo River (a tie....both equally as good, both the most pricey of all the above-listed options, both the best-themed courses and best maintained overall)
2. Hawaiian Island
3. Gator Golf
4. Volcano Island

Pirates Cove has a pirates theme (hmmmm :scratchin....maybe I didn't need to clarify that after all? :rotfl:) while Congo River is more of an island theme (love the calypso music). Both will run you about $10 or so per player unless you can snag a coupon along the way. Congo River emails me special offers from time to time, and both have a BOGO offer in the 2013 Entertainment Book.

My trip report from Christmas 2012 features a ton of pics from Hawaiian Rumble and Congo River. I will see if I can find a few from Gator Golf, Volcano Island, and Pirates Cove and post them here.

My friends and I purchased Amazon Local vouchers for a place called Lost Caverns Adventure Golf about a month ago. When we got there, we discovered it was the former Congo River on International Drive next to Wet N Wild. That place is really cool now! They refurbished the courses and made some alterations to them, which makes it a step up from what it was. The staff was really friendly too. We learned they took over the old location in November. They don't have live gators yet, but they will be getting them soon.

The prices were not too bad either. We've been back three times since. They have some discount coupons and BOGO offers that make it an awesome deal. We went a few days ago and they now have a Foursquare offer. Their newbie special was getting the 2nd course for free! LOL, we all checked in.

Prices were $12 for an Adult; $10 for a Child with the option to play the second course at half price. We found coupons in I Love Orlando Magazine. They had $2 off per person for up to 6 people in there.
