Thinking ahead of how I want to scrapbook my upcoming trip. I have done it by park or chronological order but I can't keep that up otherwise I am going to have too many albums with no space to store them. Especially with this trip being a disney cruise and parks??? Not really interested in the ABC album or smash book ideas(though I may do a small one with receipts, maps, etc). While I like the idea of a black and white album, I just can't commit to the idea on this trip because with the cruise and our AofA stay, I think I would really miss the colored photos. I was just curious if anyone had any new ideas on how they organized their Disney albums. I'm very bad at narrowing just my favorite photos and need to improve in this area. I am also a multi pic scrapper because I also have a photography addiction (the joke in our home is my camera is our fourth child and is named cammy). I was just curious if anyone had any new innovative ideas that I just have not thought of yet? If you do just the highlights of the trip, how do you narrow the pictures down? I hope to only end up with two albums(one cruise, one wdw). Help me brainstorm!!!

How about just characters or favorite moments or an album about 1 color in perticular other then black and white.

I'm planning on doing one of my albums similar to Project Life. Have you seen the new "Project Mouse" kits? Project Mouse. I'm not certain I will use the digital "cards" they've made, but will probably use the bajillion sheets of paper and embellishments to make my own. I ordered some of these when they were on sale and that way I will have a variety of page protectors to use when the time comes to scrap which ever trip I decide to do this way ;)

I want to do our 2012 trip in the PL set up and I plan to use the pages that Jen showed the link to you... Actually, got to get ready to order those... they are on my list... just need to sit down and order them!!!

how about collages (sp??) like those in my pic - those I wanted several pics from each Mission but not take up alot space - I did that in pisca3 which is free;)

Jen can you tell me more about the project mouse kits? They are so cute! Do you just download them and print them yourself or can you purchase them? I can't figure it out :confused3 ETA: Never mind I found the store link this morning. The prices seem to be about the same as PL stuff.

Michelle I wish I could help, but, I take too many pics too and I have a terrible time "weeding out". I also trained Rachel to have this affliction ;) I have 3 albums for our last 10 day trip to Disneyland

There are freebies too, did you find them Cheryl? I think there are four right now.

Yep :thumbsup2 Thanks for the link Jen :)

I also found 3x4 cards for each MK "land" at SYT. You have to cut them out, but, they are really nice.

I am contemplating this same issue. I'm considering an album of people pictures with highlights of attractions/characters/events....making family the focus. And then having another album where I include my photography.

I'm in the process of choosing 17 of my favorite Disney photos, printing them in black and white or sepia tone (haven't decided yet), and placing them in frames in my front hallway as a photo collage.

I'm also going back to a more focus on the photos approach to my scrapbooking--with pages of pictures more than lots of decoration....that is once I get caught up on all I have to do in my current style and use up all my swap pieces!:rolleyes1

Thanks everyone. I like the PL photo pages. I plan on using those in my everyday album soon, here or there. My friend does a mix of those and regular 12 by 12 layouts too in her albums and it works great. I might mix a few of those page protectors in my disney album for tickets, maps, etc. I have way too many disney swap and purchased items to not use them up though.

The collage prints might be an idea? I guess I would just have to group more by theme like world show case, fantasyland, etc. Still thinking- brainstorming.
