Thank you. I hope they will do that at BC CL, too.

Yeah, back in our stay last June the BC had bottles of Dasani you could take with you, but only if you asked, they weren't out. It sounds like they still do that. Sounds like only the BC has the Dasani waters though, and everywhere else just has the big bottles.

Just so everyone knows..... we stayed CL at the GF in the Sugar Loaf building last week and they did not have any bottled water, large or small, glass or plastic, even when we asked.

Wow! That is terrible! In all our CL experiences I've never been refused water. I would have contacted a manager. Awful!!!!!!!!

So far BC has been the only CL where we've been given the option for small Dasani, we've had large glass Evian bottles everywhere else. We always ask for 2 bottles each day to keep in our room so that when we come back late at night we have water to drink. Between the 4 of us we easily polish off two bottles after a long night in the parks.

I agree! When we asked, they said they don't have any bottled water. We told the CM that we have always been able to get bottled water from the YC and Poly CL lounges. They offered to fill a pitcher from the Poland Springs cooler in the service area, but we declined. Fortunately, we had a car and spent one day visiting a college in Melbourne, so we stopped and bought a gallon at Publix. Because of that and several other reasons, I scored them quite low on the survey they sent online. It was just an ok stay, with no WOW factors that I expected from what is supposed to be Disney's flagship resort. We will go back to the YC or Poly for our next CL stay.

That happened to us when we were at AKL CL a few weeks ago. I was really disappointed because when we switched to the CL I specifically asked if there'd be bottled water we could grab in the mornings for our days at the parks. I was told yes but then we got there and asked and were told they didn't have bottled water.

Maybe they'll get rid of bottled water at all CLs? Practically speaking I would imagine that's a big expense for them because if everyone wanted to do what we planned we would have grabbed 2 -4 bottles a day probably twice a day. Whereas we didn't grab any cans of soda or milk. We drank from the pitchers and had some wine and beer in the evenings.

I guess we will contact IPO about the water issue. We go through A LOT of water. I'm more than happy to fill up my own bottle from the glass evian at the lounge, but I just don't want to have the sink water :crazy2:
We usually buy from garden grocer a 24pk of water. I was hoping when paying for CL that something like bottled water would be included? :confused3
Seems silly that they wouldn't offer it. We chose to do CL so we wouldn't have to bother with Garden Grocer! As long as there is someway that we can get bottled water, even from a poland spring cooler like outahere said, then that'll have to suffice.

Me, too. I was hoping to pass on the garden grocer this time. That water was definitely a bonus when I reserved CL. What to do, what to do.....:confused3

Maybe email the IPO and ask about water, see what they say. I don't think I've ever seen little bottles of water at any of the lounges we've stayed at-BWI, YC, AKL.

I would say if they will give you a pitcher of their bottled water from the CL kitchen (that you could take back to your room) that might be the easiest for filling water bottles for a family.

It's been several years since the CL lounges had water that we could take to the parks. I really wish they still did. For us water drinkers, the cases of soda and beer they serve don't mean anything.

The last few trips there was at least bottled water (in glass) in the lounge. But we have resorted to ordering cases from garden grocer, which really does seem silly when we are staying CL. :sad2:

I have complained to the IPO offices each trip. Perhaps if more people do the same something will change.

So bottled water for CL guest to use in the parks were previously listed as a perk :confused3 or was it just something CL provided to be used in the club or to take back to the room:duck:. I'm all for saying something but I'd love to know if it was actually a perk or something that CL guest just did on their own. Thanks:goodvibes

Yes, quite a number of years ago (4 or 5 maybe?), bottled water for guests was a perk of CL. It went by the wayside when CL services were being cut due to the downturn in the economy. Given the exorbitant cost of CL these days, one would think it is a perk they could afford to reinstate. :confused3

:thumbsup2 Yep. They used to have bottles that we were welcome to take with us. And I agree that the cost of staying CL (over a regular room) has gone way up, while the amenities have been sliding some. Since we do split stays each time, it would be nice not to have to move a case or a case and a half of water each time... ;)

Thanks for responding, I guess I better grab two cases from the store tomorrow :goodvibes:thumbsup2:wave2:

This water thing is a bummer. Sounds like we'll need to make our complimentary Publix stop this trip just for water. We usually only stop when we do our DVC stays.

We finally booked for the Polynesian CL, this summer for our first visit since 2009. Hoping the Volcano Pool won't be closed! Combining with our first visit to Universal right afterwards!:cool1:

I just noticed this..:lmao:

That was our last time at POLY CL too!

I wanted it for our Anniversary trip this April but it wasn't available with my 35% BB rate. I just couldn't let that rate go so we are trying BWI CL.

Hoping for a BB rate next year!

Hi everyone, this is my first post! I've really enjoyed reading through this thread. I had a quick question, if staying club level, at then end of your trip can you check into ME and get boarding passes from the club level consierge or do you go into the main lobby to do it? Thanks!

In our experience, this is done for you on your last night. We woke up on our last morning and everything had been printed and was out under our door. :goodvibes

And.....:welcome: to the Dis!

Hoping to do V&A's Queen Victoria room in October when we go - anyone have experience having the IPO set up this for them or should we do this on our own?

Also, we'll have to use Kids Nite Out that evening (staying Poly CL) - probably a dumb question and I know we'll figure it out, but wondering if anyone knew if will we have to meet the sitter somewhere or will they be able to come to the room directly somehow?
