My DH and I are taking our DD to DW for her 16th. The trip is in a month's time and we're staying at POR, Royal room w/garden view.
Earlier this week my mother-in-law passed away and during a conversation with my father-in-law re: what he'd do by himself, we suggested that he come with us on the trip. (Our DD is a very, very family-oriented young lady and I think she'd be thrilled to have her Pop-pop with us).
My father-in-law initially said no, but he's been bring bringing this up with his friends, so I think he is considering. He is able to get around, however, we would ideally like to find him a scooter or something to get around the parks.
I looked on the website last night and unfortunately, the standard rooms at POR are sold out. Are there options for cots in the Royal rooms?
Second thought... my DH, DD and I are doing the Dining Plan and have made ADR's. My father-in-law is not a big eater... two questions... would I need to cancel my ADR's and rebook or can we simply tell them when checking in that we have an extra guest and we'll pay for his meals.
Many, many thanks for any feedback, input on things I haven't considered, etc.... my head is going in million directions right now.
