So Much To Celebrate - LIFE and Sophie Kate!

I agree, time for the suitcase. I have a Disney suitcase and I like to get it out early and just let it sit in my bedroom so I can start getting excited. We are planning another trip this fall for our 4oth anniversary. It's in October but we went a couple years ago to see all the Halloween decorations and go to MNSSHP. So this time we are going in November to see the Christmas decor. On another note, we have a Wii U and downloaded Street U. It's a lot like Google maps my daughter said. But we looked at Disney from above and it was so cool. When we were over DHS it said go here, and we were down on the street looking at the Osbourne lights from December 2012. Can't wait to see that in person!

YAY for 3 weeks:cool1::cool1::cool1:

I loved your story Stacey, so cool!

Jacobs loves to get magnets, postcards and of course t-shirts. He is really big into cool necklaces also. Right now he has so many necklaces he is running out of room! LoL.

Coins will be thrown! :thumbsup2 We could always be specific, too, and find out how accurate the fountain really is. Like, do you want tall and dark or blonde and tanned? Do you want a quiet guy or a life of the party type? This could be fun! :woohoo:

Hmm....tall and dark? Or blonde and tanned? :confused3 I could probably deal with either ;) Other specifics? Well, let's put them in terms of Disney "Princes" :upsidedow

Tramp - As the song goes, he's a tramp, but I love him, and he showed Lady a different part of the world she'd never been exposed to. He would be a possibility, except for the fact that he's a dog
Aladdin - while cute and charming, he lied to Jasmine about his background...not so cool in my book. :sad2:
Prince Eric - he's adventuresome and loves dogs, but was too easily tempted by a pretty face with an ugly personality. Next!
Prince Philip - Dashing and daring, he took on a dragon for his true love. And, he can dance! A definite possibility ;)
Prince Adam (Beast) - awesome house, great group of loyal friends. A little rough around the edges, but cleans up well. Used to be too hung up on appearances, but learned from his mistake. Also, a good dancer! He's also a strong contender :scratchin

So...I think I need to go with a blend of Philip and Adam. Hope that helps narrow down the wish! :thumbsup2

Know what today is?

It's 'Three Weeks from Today' day! :dance3: Yeah, buddy!!! :woohoo:

I think this weekend will be the time to start pulling out the suitcases and tossing things in, don't you? :cool2:

Well hurrah for three weeks from today!! :cheer2: Definitely time to get those suitcases out. ::yes::

Yay for 3 weeks from today day!!!:cool1::banana:

I think pulling out the suitcases sounds like a great idea!!!:thumbsup2

Probably going to happen on Saturday - when we are supposed to get snow. Only an inch, but a cold day, anyway, and a good way to remind myself that warm days are ahead.

Yes MeMom you are VERY talented.
Gee, From bring together DIStown to cooking a great meal to being such a hardworking and wonderful teacher. So many more to list.::yes::

Let's see Spouse wishing fountains. So many to think about but let's try.

EPCOT fountains- many there ---France maybe??? OOHLaLA

CSR fountains- many there too.

:cool1::cool1::cool1:

I will throw some back-up coins in the fountain in France. I mean, you brought up the oo-la-la factor, so it's worth a try. ;)

MeMom's matchmaking...I love it!!

:faint: STACY!!! That is the best story I have heard in a long time!! Were you dying?? Seriously, how cool is that! Too bad you didn't get to hang with mystery VIP some more!

That was a cool story. :)

As for the matchmaking service, that remains to be seen.

Okay, I'm doing it, I'm finally coming out of lurkdom and fessing up--I'm here and following! This is the first trip report I'm officially delurking on, I can't help it--we have three girls as well (and a brand new boy!) and I have a soft spot for three-girl families. :) Your story gave me chills, as we had our own medical crisis not very long ago and we're still feeling very lucky to be a complete family.

Can't wait to keep reading!

We are so very glad you have decided to enjoy the insanity... I mean, the fun!!! :cheer2: And we are especially glad your medical crisis turned out well. We are blessed!

Jill might have considered a fourth baby, but not after what Sophie did to her. Three is it, for sure.

You will love seeing the Christmas decorations, and the Osborne Lights will be a highlight! I will tell you a secret - I pulled out a suitcase tonight. Only because I was looking for a tube of Benadryl cream, and I thought it was in there with my trip supplies.

T-shirts are good souvenirs. ::yes:: I like to get resort t-shirts when they have them.

A mix of the two? Will do! As long as you don't think about taking my Naveen, we're good. ;)

Well hurrah for three weeks from today!! Definitely time to get those suitcases out. ::yes::

I had to get one out tonight, because I was looking for something that I thought was in my trip stash. It made me smile when I opened it and saw my little bag of supplies. :goodvibes

I saw this guy doing a video for a podcast website. When he paused, I asked if that what he was doing, and he said that he was and that he appreciated me speaking, and he hoped I would check them out. He gave me a card, but I'll have to find it - somewhere - because I can't remember it. :upsidedow

It was honestly one the strangest things that has ever happened to me! And my aunt Kim was freaked out! She kept saying "I hope he isn't following us" and "do you think we'll get in trouble for not really knowing him and sneaking into the ride?" That will be the mystery I ask for the answer to when I get to Heaven! :rotfl:

We sure don't want to jeopardize you getting your man card, so just drop in when you want and zone out when you want. Declansdad does the same thing - he teases us about our shopping. ;)
Not worried about zoning out completely and having to drop back in, I can stick it out even with all the shopping talk. Good to know that teasing about it is allowed though...........I can certainly take advantage of that! :rotfl:

As for the dating service, let's wait and see how that fountain works with that. It's been good for babies, but it's untested in the future spouse department.
Should at least prove interesting to follow the updates! :rolleyes1

Wishes for a happy life has been a request before, for sure. I usually think specific requests, and then I throw in a few for good measure and kind of think 'for whatever anyone is wanting or needing right now'. ::yes::
Yes, a happy life is definitely a worthwhile hope! If anything can do it you have to think the chances are good that Disney can! :goodvibes

Okay, I can cook a decent meal. Does that qualify as a talent? :) You better hope so, because you do not want me to throw out one of my stick figure drawings for you to prove the 'no talent' clause when it comes to art.
Being able to cook a decent (I'm guessing better than that though) meal is never a bad thing! :)

Nice update and I :lmao: over the desalting the pretzel pic! :p

My ticker is one day off, so I'm a little closer.
Sorry you are expecting snow this weekend. I'm glad it's just one inch!:goodvibes
Can't wait to see the Beach Club 17 days and you in 3 weeks! :jumping1:

I think you simply got a nice sprinkling of pixie dust. pixiedust: Funny that she thought she would get in trouble!

I have not yet had a Mickey-shaped pretzel, but I hope to do that on this trip. I am afraid if I keep putting it off, they will discontinue them, and I will regret never having had one. I am sure a Mickey one is just one step more delicious than a regular one.

Teasing is allowed. Laughter is a huge part of our DIStown fun!

This weekend I will take inventory of what I need, and next week I will make the purchases. :thumbsup2 It's really almost time! :cool1:

Your trip is so close :cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

Yes, it is, and I am very ready! I thought Mr. Groundhog said we were going to have an early spring, but I am not seeing it so far.

My ticker is one day off, so I'm a little closer.

Believe me, I am ready, ready, ready to go!

Cool HS update with lots of great pictures. I never noticed that there was a green army man hanging upside down from the outside of TSM. :lmao:

And you are just under 3 weeks for another trip. SOOOOOOOOO Lucky! :thumbsup2

I was thinking last night that the perfect fountain for match making quarters would be Cinderella's by the castle. What better place to find your prince. If you would, I have a son who was born in 1980 if you can toss a coin in for him that would be wonderful. Unfortunately he's not a Disney lover or I'd try to match him up with someone here. ;)

Love the pic with all three girls with Mickey! :)

I definitely do think you can get those suitcases out and start getting excited! :thumbsup2

Speaking of suitcases I tried to buy a new Disney suitcase for Lexi (part of her birthday surprise) but turned out the one I want is sold out everywhere.
I placed an order earlier this week but it was cancelled a few days later because they didn't have any in stock. Disappointing! :headache:

I guess I'll keep looking....she will just have to keep using her old ones for now. :goodvibes

I had so much fun window shopping through your pics today!
Wish I could get 20% off those hat ornaments...they are all awesome!

We have tried the Mickey Pretzel and it is so much better than the plain ol regular variety...LOL

Never say never, my dear. I like to say "not yet." Like vegetables for toddlers, Disney can be an acquired taste for our guys. Remember that our fearless leader Jill is still working on full conversion of John, but they still have wonderful trips in the meantime. Eventually, all those resistant guys will find that Disney's magic (& food!!) has won them over, just like my DH. ::yes::

Hurray for starting the packing process, MeMom! :cool1:

Not sure how I missed the start of this TR Memom. I am here now, though. I TRY every time you girls start a new one to find a place in Distown; but it is such a busy place that I end up getting lost and ducking out to become a lurker again. I am going to try to hang in this time. :thumbsup2

I won't be able to make the July Nashville dismeet at Opry Mills! :sad1: I have already heard from out of town family that they will be coming to spend the day/night with us on that very Saturday. I would have totally been there!!! Let me know if you all plan a zoo day this summer. We have a membership, maybe we could plan a quick zoo-meet. :confused3

I should probably get a suitcase out, since I'm leaving in 10 days!!

It freaks the dog out, though, so I tend to just make piles of "stuff" around the house!

Love the little pretzel eaters!! I've never had a mickey head shaped pretzel, but have had some non-mickey ones. Not quite as good! ;)

Yeah, I even stole the green Army man idea to use on my school bulletin board. I put one to work holding the apostrophe in the word you've. ;)

I am excited about the trip, but I also have that little touch of sadness that brings me back down a bit since I know I will not have my girls with me.

That's a great fountain suggestion. Maybe we need a DIStown vote. :)

As for your son, he doesn't have to be a Disney fan. As long as he can tolerate it, I think we can work with him.

I like all the suitcases!

I wish I could get 80% off those ornaments. :upsidedow

A Mickey pretzel is on my list. Time will tell if I get one. I always have lots of intentions that never get checked off. They get moved to the list for the next trip or the next or the next. Right this moment - and yes, it is 2:30 in the morning - I am craving a Mickey pretzel!

As long as the guys tolerate Disney, I think they are fair game. I don't know if we'll let 'haters' in the matchmaking service, but tolerators we can do. ::yes:: Maybe the name should be something like Matchmaker Magic. I mean, who can resist the power of :wizard: when it come to Mickey?!?!?

Tomorrow. The packing, or more the pre-packing, will begin tomorrow. :thumbsup2

Too bad about July. We would love to meet you another time at Opry Mills, though, or at the zoo. We love the zoo!

We hope you will stay with us in DIStown. I will try to make it easier to just see the pictures by putting up the exact page numbers like I did last time. I will get to that this weekend.

This made me laugh so hard, E does this too...except C would rather have the salt than the pretzel, so she asks E to shake the salt off into her hand.

I just like them normally salty - extra is too much, but taking it off is definitely not my style. Right now, all this pretzel talk is making me want to go to Auntie Anne's at the mall! :goodvibes

Yum a snack sounds good, especially one from Disney. I'll be de-salting mine too.

I never realized there were so many de-salters.

I should probably get a suitcase out, since I'm leaving in 10 days!!

Hoooooraaaay for ten days!!! :cheer2:

My cat loves to sit in the suitcases when they are open. Silly little boy!

Came back to add: I get to go to Disney World THIS MONTH! :earsgirl:
