Happy Monday. Hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend.

We took our group of cub scouts to the winter fun day. Let's just say I'm not a winter person, so this was a big deal for me to go. Spent all day out in the cold but it was worth it. My little guys (7-8 yr olds) beat out all the other groups up to and including 11 year olds for first place. I was so proud of them and they received their award like total rock stars! They really worked hard and made it a team effort and it paid off!

Spent Sunday thawing out and puttering around the house. Got my box all ready to ship out for MK swap and realized I didn't put the sketches in the box. Now I need to stop at the PO and get another box and unwrap the miles and miles of tape from the original. Hoping these will be postal tomorrow.

We could use some P & PD at my house.

I apparently ate something I was allergic to on Friday night and I have been in bed or the "library" since then. My allergy to dairy causes anaphylaxis in my GI tract (it s**ks!). The doc gave me some new meds and I am finally feeling better this afternoon. Hopefully I can get some work done on the MK sketch swap this evening!

Also, Rachel still isn't feeling great after her bout of bronchitis, strep, and laryngitis. The musical is next week and she really could use some pixie dust to help her get her energy level up. The doc told her that until we get the Epstein-Barr under control and her immune system "pumped up" she's gonna catch everything that comes her way.

Okay--enough whining Have a great evening!

I got an email from one of my references that she had returned a call to the director this afternoon. I guess they are moving fast!
