CSR Business Class or AoA LM?

Debating between CSR Business Class or AoA Little Mermaid room. Currently, the price difference between the two is about $1200. We will be getting the regular dining plan no matter what, so if a free dining promo is released, we'll likely go with that one.

It's just my fiance and I traveling, late 20's no kids. We like to break mid-day. We will be there 9 days/8 nights. Have stayed at POR twice before. Loved the food court best there.

I love the theme at CSR and the convenience of business class, plus the breakfast and snacks will save us dining credits. We used to do DxDP so we will have to keep track of our credits on regular DDP. We also like the thought that there would be less families (potentially), especially since a convention will be there while we are.

AoA being a new resort is intriguing. It looks nice from the photos and I do love all the Disney theming around. We usually eat at the food court one to two times a day and the AoA food court seems as though we'd like it better than Pepper Market at CSR.

Thoughts?

Two words: Larger beds.

AoA has double beds, some Kings, but they aren't guaranteed. CSR has Queen beds or you can book a King bed.

We just returned from a 4 night stay at CSR Business class. All I can say is WOW!! We have stayed at Concierge before at Disney and didn't think it was worth the extra $$ for us. The price difference between a STD view and Bus class at CSR was only about $30/night so we decided to give it a try. We thought it was great. The cast members were just amazing!! They are only open for breakfast and from 5-10pm and they don't have hot appetizers, but they do have beer and wine. We will stay there again and again!!:) Any other questions, please ask.

Thanks for the response! What kind of breakfast foods were there? No hot apps, means cold continental breakfast I am assuming?

Online, I have seen they areopen from 7am-10pm but while you were there, they closed after breakfast until 5pm? We like to break in the afternoon and would probably want a drink or snacks, or to use the computer when it sounds like they might be closed...

Breakfast was from 7-10am. It included orange juice, coffee(they also have a cappuccino/espresso machine), -bottles of water and soft drinks are out as well- bagels, pastries (varies each day), fresh fruit- strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, watermelon, canteloupe.

They closed at 10:00am and opened up at 5pm-10pm. They had potato chips, dip, salsa & tortilla chips, hummus and crackers/pita, nuts. Soft drinks and bottles of water were out. They serve alcoholic drinks to you- they had beer, wine, sangria.

The lounge had two tvs and a few computers. You could take snacks back to your room- so if you wanted a mid afternoon snack, you could take items the night before to store in the refrigerator.

Whooohooo! I'm glad I booked it for Princess 1/2 marathon weekend. Adult beverages are worth it.

Is there an additional charge for the alcoholic drinks? If so, how much were they going for if you remember? Thanks!

NO charge!!:thumbsup2 And they don't limit you (probably within reason) as my DH and I had two sangrias each.

So excited!! I just booked CSR Business class for March! Sounds awesome. Thanks for the details. I wanted to subscribe to this thread in case any one else adds anything else! :thumbsup2

You'll love it there! Also, you are in Cabanas 9B- so close to the main building!!:thumbsup2

Are you guaranteed Cabanas 9B with Business Class? The description on the Disney website says "a parking lot or courtyard view." I thought Cabanas 9B was mostly a lake view? But Disney has been known to make mistakes on their room descriptions.

Also can you grab a beer or sangria and go? I imagine a CM saying "where do you think you're going walking out with that beer?!"

Yes to both. All business class rooms are in Cabana 9B including the business class lounge (or room I guess). And others have said they have been able to take drinks with them.
