Aw you guys are the best, I hope I give back as much support as I get here. :flower3: Little one is gone to school today, there was no way she was missing, they have their dance a thon during the day, and we are supposed to go back tonight too. She is a trooper. Although I have spent the day worrying about her anyway. :worried: I wish she could just kick this stuff.

DH had the day off so we have spent the day together hitting the Disney store to get the girls new PJ's, (love their cotton ones), had lunch out at a random asian restaurant and my favorite part....talked Disney!!:cool1:

I love it when he is in the mood to discuss. :hyper2: So we have changed our plan for November again....we think to be financially responsible :rolleyes2 we will stay at POR, adding on a night or two. Hopefully the AP discount will come out for those dates. That way we can have some extra $$$ to get Christmas party tix, and do parasailing at CC for me!! :joker:

I just said I hope we don't love CL too much this trip in May!! It may ruin us...but I do feel better about our Nov plans. Takes a little pressure off. There is always next time to stay at the CR.

I hope you are all having a good day....waving hi to everyone.:wave2:

Jen

I was at the Disney store today too!!! got some shopping done for our trip. They had t-shirts on sale, so I got the girls some Perry the Platypus shirts and Vanellope Von Sweet shirts...got DH a new Jack Skellington shirt (his obsession) and got me a new mickey and minnie shirt.

Then I moved on to Old Navy and got some more tshirts and shorts for the girls. And some cool Star Wars tees for DH. I think everyone will be happy with my choices. :goodvibes

Tonight is date night with the DH!!! We are going out with our friends who are accompanying us to Disney. Our babysitter will take on all 5 kids! Which is fine, she is a preschool teacher, she can handle it...but hahahahaha:rotfl2:

Awww, she IS a little trooper. Good for her! Is she taking any meds? (Miss M just told me yesterday she wished the weekend was shorter and the school week was longer. :confused3 :lmao: )

You gotta strike while the iron's hot, eh? Not often they get in that sorta mood. :rotfl2: :lmao:

POR is really, super... I'm not lying here... nice. I swear it -- cross my heart and all. You'll enjoy it there. :goodvibes I'm not sure where we'll stay at Christmas -- but POR is definitely an option for all future trips.

I just said I hope we don't love CL too much this trip in May!! It may ruin us...but I do feel better about our Nov plans. Takes a little pressure off. There is always next time to stay at the CR.

:thumbsup2

I am so jealous of your motivation. DH and I are seriously going to get in shape soon...somehow. We both cannot seem to motivate eachother very well. We are always either busy, or bone tired. What's your mind control secret??? pixiedust:

Beer. It's my motivation. :rotfl: (Oh, and summer and skirts and shorts are some good ones.) We do tend to be less active when it's colder so I always feel like I should be doing better than I do. :rolleyes2 Going to get back to walking a few days a week with the hubs when the sidewalks clear up. I miss our little morning walks; I usually use that time to hit him up with the vacation talk. :thumbsup2

MM: Great shopping haul! Star Wars tees at Old Navy, hmm? :scratchin
Enjoy your date night. :worship: I agree about the preschool teacher thing; they're like superheroes. :lmao:

grrrr...I have to split this up
Ran out of bar soap so I grabbed one of these beauties from the closet WDW stash:

ccf08e8b-a703-4dbb-9665-af21063a4694_zps0ff81ce1.jpg

DD saw the empty box on the counter and came to me with it declaring, "You can't use these, they don't make them anymore, they're vintage!":guilty:

That is cool!! I have some from our June trip stashed away in the bedroom closet. Since we drove, we brought all of our own stuff anyway. Each day when we got back from the parks, I put the new stuff in the luggage so they would bring us more each day.

TGIF Peeps (and Lord knows, we ALL need it!!) So, who's starting the happy hour?? :teeth:

I just may join y'all in that today.

Wookie, that is so shameful  Kuddos for you standing your ground at your grandmother's funeral in a very subtle way :thumbsup2

Looking back, it may have been a slightly childish move, but at least it made me feel better.

:lmao: how 'bout on a slow boat to China?? or better yet, the Carnival boat that just got towed in... :rotfl:
Janet & Wookie: I agree ... either a cargo plane or the derelict Carnival ship. I was originally thinking first class plane ride so I could fool them into thinking they were going someplace nice. :lmao:

:lmao:.....or even better the Carnival boat to the island from Lost.

That is SO scary!

I just abhor ignorance. There is no reason for us to be a prejudiced society in 2013. I try to teach my kids about equality, but I have strong willed Italian relatives that refuse to accept others. I hate it. I tell my own children they are free to love anyone they want, of any race, gender, and religion. Love is love. Others in my family don't see things that way, :sad2:

I feel the same way. I just wish the DH and his family did.

The stew was EXCELLENT. I was really happy it turned out well. Do you have pinterest? I get TONS off recipe ideas there. Most of my pins are about food :rotfl:

I do, but I am never on it.

I refuse to use our party time for rides. Although, our last MNSSHP Danimal ended up going on rides with my dad while I sat in the nursery with Lily. She was coming down with hand, foot, mouth disease that night. :crazy2:

We do all of the rides. Especially the Haunted Mansion Then as we're walking between rides, we hit up the candy stations. I'm sure y'all would have gotten a good :lmao: at me getting out of the Tommorrowland Speedway car in a full length blue gown. I stepped on the hem of my dress, and plopped right back down into the seat. Luckily for me, there was a gentlemanly Mad Hatter waiting to get in, that offered his hand to help me out. I'm sure it was a funny scene...the Mad Hatter helping The Blue Fairy get out of a race car.

I am so sorry. Parent troubles are so frustrating. My parents both like to complain about each other, but I can't escape them because we live together. :rotfl:

This week I spent over $500 on groceries. No one even offered to pitch in. :sad2: They have no problem eating what I buy and cook though. It's maddening. :headache:

Living with your parents (or inlaws) as an adult is it's own special....well it sure isn't paradise. Luckily, we both pitch in on the food. My problems with food is they don't like any spices at all. I mean they think all you should use is very little salt and pepper on anything.

......and Part 2
Last night I worked till 7:30 but asked if I could leave at 7:15 so I could go to Costco. I wanted to stock up on chicken, produce, and some other stuff. They close at 8:30 so I needed to hurry and thankfully that time of the night is about the only time it isn't swamped there. I managed to get in and out in about 45 minutes....and spend $300. :scared1:

By the time I got home, carried everything in, cleaned out old stuff, and put everything away it was 10. I was just too tired to catch up. I had to let Lily nurse in the car because she was begging for "bees" as she likes to call them. :rotfl: Poor kiddo was deprived all day!

That's awesome you were able to get out a little early. I love stores like that, but the cost can go up pretty quickly.

I hope the day doesn't wear her out too much.

I love when my DH is in the mood to talk Disney. I hope he is in that mood today, because I changed around some ADRs and I want to run it by him to see if it makes and much sense to him as it does to me. If he looks at me like he's a dog I am trying to explain Einstein's String Theory to, then I may need to come here and ask y'all. I would love to be brave enough to try the parasailing, but I'm a great big 'ol chicken.

I just said I hope we don't love CL too much this trip in May!! It may ruin us...but I do feel better about our Nov plans. Takes a little pressure off. There is always next time to stay at the CR.

I hope you are all having a good day....waving hi to everyone.:wave2:

Jen

I'm trying to convince the DH to upgrade to a GV CL room, but I'm worried it will spoil me. Anyone know if the BC GV CL rooms have been included in FD in the past?

I was at the Disney store today too!!! got some shopping done for our trip. They had t-shirts on sale, so I got the girls some Perry the Platypus shirts and Vanellope Von Sweet shirts...got DH a new Jack Skellington shirt (his obsession) and got me a new mickey and minnie shirt.

Tonight is date night with the DH!!! We are going out with our friends who are accompanying us to Disney. Our babysitter will take on all 5 kids! Which is fine, she is a preschool teacher, she can handle it...but hahahahaha:rotfl2:

Sounds like you had a good shopping day. I hope y'all have a good date night.

MM: Great shopping haul! Star Wars tees at Old Navy, hmm? :scratchin

Yep, they have some great ones. I got my oldest DS several when I was at Old Navy in January.

Today has been a crazy day for me. Joey missed the bus, but I had the DH take him to school. As soon as JM got on the bus, set my alarm for 11 AM, and curled back up in bed. Well either I set it wrong, or the DH turned it off because the next thing I know I look at the time on my phone I had left on the pillow beside me (I couldn't find my glasses, so I couldn't see the alarm clock on the other side of the room) and it was just after 1 PM. I guess I needed the sleep. I have done a few posts in my class, but I have more homework to do. I'm sure the DH will want to spend all day Sunday playing SW:tOR and I have plans on Saturday night. A girls I grew up with has a son at my son's school, in the same grade. They were on the same football team together (each grade at his school has 2). They want JM and I to come hang out on Saturday night. He's so excited!! JM has mild Autism Spectrum Disorder and has always had problems finding and maintain friendships. The boys mother works with kids like JM, so he knows he doesn't mean everything he says. I swear, I totally adore this kid. Since they have become friends, JM is doing better with his behavior in school and with interacting with other kids.

Anyway, back to a little school work, so I can join in in Happy Hour.

Ladies I am hopelessly behind again. I don't know what got into me but after cooking for everyone else so long I finally started cooking what I want :) between the new food processor and now new ice cream maker :) I am unstoppable, LOL! But it is cutting into my Dis time for sure, sorry

Dani, I need to find you on Pinterest since that is where I have been getting so many recipes lately as well!

I'll try to catch up from carline again today.

My Pinterest is here. Ladies who don't have Pinterest, I'm pretty sure you can still view all of my pins even without an account. :goodvibes

Hello loverlies!

Dani: Ugh, sorry they don't help you out. :( Do they know what they're in store for when the Vitamix arrives? Uh-oh. :thumbsup2 You know, maybe that second cruise booking was the way to go? :lmao:

Lily calling them "bees" ... that is so flippin' CUTE! :goodvibes

~~---------------------------~~

Was totally and thoroughly tortured by my trainer this morning (since I lack any sort of discernible coordination, instead of cardio-based stuff, my focus is on weightlifting and Evil Ron Weasley ensures I don't kill myself with bad form.) After all the self-inflicted pain, I treated myself to buying a bunch of beer for later this evening. :rotfl:

So, RC happy hour later? :drinking1 :rolleyes1

It came today. ;) Lily is enjoying a strawberry grape smoothie in her chair as I type! Now I don't feel guilty about her having a "treat." She calls them "bees" as in short for boo bies lol. I have to separate the words because the DIS seems to think it's a no-no. :confused3

I got miss priss a few swimsuits from the Disney Store and I can't believe how small they are cut. She wears size 18 months right now. I bought her suits in a 2/3 and they are fitting her perfectly for fight now with a little spare room. They will work for summer, but I intended them for our cruise in late October. Definitely not going to cut it! She will need a size 4. That is just hogwash!

I am so jealous of your motivation. DH and I are seriously going to get in shape soon...somehow. We both cannot seem to motivate eachother very well. We are always either busy, or bone tired. What's your mind control secret??? pixiedust:

I wish I had the motivation I did before having Lily. Well actually that's not true. After getting hit by the cars I stopped working out. My body just hurts too much. Then add in the weight gain my body is a mess. That's why I'm determined to get myself healthy, and the kids as well.

I wish the shirt still fit Danimal. The shirts are cut so much smaller than they used to be. He wears a size 10/12 or large shirt from any other store. He can't wear shirts from the Disney Store. I remember when he was a wee tot they were cut HUGE. He needed an XXS for the LONGEST time.

grrrr...I have to split this up

I do, but I am never on it.

That is a hilarious depiction. I can just see it! :rotfl2:

My parents don't like anything too creative, but if they want to eat then they will accept what I make. :rotfl:

Okay, I got the laptop out, time to do some serious catching up!

Dani - thanks for the Pinterest link! I love the "bees", too cute :goodvibes I made strawberry kiwi sorbet today and used stevia instead of sugar or honey to try to cut down the calories, it came out pretty good but there is a slight after taste. The strawberry grape smoothie sounds yummy!

Wookie - sounds like you needed the sleep! It is so nice to hear that JM has this friend, I know its hard for these kids, it is nice to know that this boy understands it and sounds like he is a great influence in JM's life :goodvibes Have a good time this weekend!

Miss - since Steven got sick last week, I havent been back to the gym :guilty: I need to get back on Monday. Right now I am just trying to get in some elliptical time, eventually I will make it back to the machines and weights. I am jealous that you have a trainer! So is that beer cracked yet :p

Candace - hope everyone liked what you bought today. Enjoy your date night :goodvibes

Jen - did you make it back to school tonight? How is DD feeling? In regards to CL, I thought we would be hooked after doing it last time, but we were really okay without it this past time. Maybe for me it is because Steven has to be gluten free, so tempting him with the CL goodies would just be cruel  Oh I hope you can go parasailing! DS20 and I went one of our cruises because I had always wanted to go, it was fun, but honestly a little anticlimactic.

KOOK - OMG, I love that you used the soap and DD freaked :lmao: Dont worry about laughing at my expense, MIL is a trip, and a bad one at that :sad2: The cards are the least of it, lets just say I had to figure out how to cover up her swastika tattoo in my wedding photos  Oh and why the change from AKL? Were you not feeling it :confused3

Rorey - WELCOME! I totally understand your fear with renting DVC points, I cant bring myself to do it either. I actually have a friend who was suppose to be in Disney this weekend but her daughter has a bad stomach flu with a very high fever, so of course they had to cancel. You just never know what is going to happen.

Jeanette - hope you get some rest soon! I get wanted to make the money for vacation, but you do need to sleep sometimes :cloud9:

Janet - just sending you a big old :hug:

Hello to everyone else I missed, hope everyone is having a great evening :grouphug:

The inlaws main problem is they both have acid reflux issues. The fil was one of the very first people on Prilosec, when it came on the market. He was supposed to have had surgery for it years ago, but he refuses.

Wookie - sounds like you needed the sleep! It is so nice to hear that JM has this friend, I know its hard for these kids, it is nice to know that this boy understands it and sounds like he is a great influence in JM's life :goodvibes Have a good time this weekend!

I think I did. Your right, it is good he found him. It should be fun. She has some Moscato wine chilling already for us. I even got my DH to agree to drop us off and pick us back up when I call him so I can have a few drinks. He originally told me, we could be there for two hours, but I convinced him my way was better.

I'm going to ask y'alls opinion sometime this weekend on my new ADR plan to see if it makes as much sense to y'all as it does to us. I showed it to my DH and he likes it better. I would post it now, but he says it'll take too long and he wants to play SW:tOR with me. Y'all have a great night!!

No time to post much tonight, but I just wanted to jump in on this. I too still nurse my newly 2yo DD. Not often, especially if I'm on vacay because of :drinking1, but still at leasta few times per week.

Anyway, I don't mention it much either because I get looks of horror and judgement, especially from the outlaws :worried:. Just wanted to give a  to another extended BFing mommy. It's nice to know there are others out there. :goodvibes

This is good to know. My not-so-tiny DD is already in size 3T or 4T so I will definitely order up from the Disney Store. Thanks!

Night ladies, hope to have time to chat over the weekend! :wave2:

Hi ladies!

Well, all the DD's are in bed, and DH and I are vegging. We did make it back for the nighttime festivities at the school, where I sold raffle tickets while the girls ran in and out of the gym dancing. They were super, and I was really proud of them. Wasn't sure it was going to work with me helping and not watching them. Shockingly they do better when I am not hovering over them...:rolleyes2 who knew??
DD4 is ok, she is on meds, and I hoping she can get through tonight without waking up and crying about her ear.

Kook: I love the vintage soap!! I guard our old Poly soap like crazy...and only let it be used in emergencies!::yes::

Jeanette: My DH gets peeved when I work too much too...but I have the same goal in mind "PAY OFF TRIPS!!":goodvibes

Melissa: I am envious of you too using your eliptical, I have a treadmill in the basement and yet still cannot pry my bottom off the couch to go and use it. :worried: I seriously need a kick in the behind!

Candace: How was date night?? Yay for new shirts!! DH has a couple of the star wars ones from Old Navy.:)

Dani: Okay, I love this Pinterest thing!! I had never really took the time to check it out before now. Very cool. And I love the pic of you and Lily, you have lovely cheekbones!!:cutie:

Janet and Iheart:  Iheart just saw your post, good for you for the BFing!!

Wookie: How did the ADR talk go???popcorn::

Miss: And your AP discussion???popcorn::

Jen

Happy Friday to my dear RC friends....

Cheers!

Wookie: How did the ADR talk go???popcorn::

Jen

Well I have a few since the DH got into some pvp because he thought it would take me longer to get in game. The talk went well, and he liked the changes I made. Here's what I did. Y'all tell me what ya think....

Monday 9/9/13
Check in, head to DHS
Dinner - Mama Melrose's (no change)

Tuesday 9/10/12
MK day
Dinner - 'Ohana (I changed this from BOG. MK closes at 7 PM b/c of MNSSHP. We would have wasted park time with BOG.)

Wednesday 9/11/13
Epcot day
Dinner - Teppan Edo (no change)

Thursday 9/12/13
AK day
Dinner - Cape May Cafe (put it here b/c I didn't want to do it before MNSSHP and the AK closes at 6 PM anyway)

Friday 9/13/13
Dinner - BOG (We'll be in the park anyway for MNSSHP and we can get there right at 4 PM and get the first available ADR. I didn't want to do Cape May Cafe, because the earliest time is 5:30 PM and then we still have to eat, and travel to the MK. I thought it put us at the party too late.)

It does make more sense like this.....right?

Yes Wookie, all of those changes make sense to me. ::yes:: We really enjoyed 'Ohana very very very very much! It all looks good.:goodvibes

Melissa: That looks very refreshing!:thumbsup2

Wookie - I agree, I think the changes make sense.

Jen - I have to go the gym for the elliptical but if DH ever gets a bonus I think i am going to try to convince him to let me get one for the house. Oh and a vodka tonic (well diet tonic) is always very refreshing ;) Glad you made it out to the school tonight!

Well, back from a lovely date night. I had a margarita (in honor of national margarita day, of course) and a glass and a half of a delicious Gewurtztraminer. :goodvibes. Now it's a tall glass of water x 2. ::yes::

Jen, Wookie, Dani - everyone loved what I picked for them. I love that DH lights up when I get him his Jack Skellington stuff. We were talking to our friends about our trip and I really think it's gonna be great! :thumbsup2

melissa. Wow! Your mom sounds like a trip. I will no longer complain about mine. :rotfl2:

Here's a couple of the shirts I got for the girls:

Storm coming though...8-15 inches....:rolleyes2

With Stevia less is definitely more!!! The smoothie came out great. I loved it!

Pinterest is an obsession for me lol.

I'll check it out this weekend.

I'm sure it was. I used it as a learning tool for the DSs. I was like, "see, that is how a true gentleman acts, and that's exactly what I would have expected you to do."

This is good to know. My not-so-tiny DD is already in size 3T or 4T so I will definitely order up from the Disney Store. Thanks!

Night ladies, hope to have time to chat over the weekend! :wave2:

Lily is OBSESSED with her "bees" and we nurse constantly throughout the day. Like if we are home she just rips my shirt up and does her thing whenever the mood strikes which is at least 10 times a day- AT LEAST! But she is much better when we are out in public now. I firmly believe in NIP but now that she is much older and doesn't NEED it I prefer to do it in private. Don't worry there are many others of us out there!!!

Miss: And your AP discussion???popcorn::

Jen

Strategic placement of makeup does wonders fr my cheekbones. ;) lol

I love Pinterest dearly. I wouldn't be able to cook without it. :rotfl2:

I love all the drinks! Lily and I are sipping some water. We are WILD! Danimal is at a family party with my mom. I elected to stay home because I have work in the morning.

Wookie - I agree, I think the changes make sense.
Sent from my iPad using DISBoards

Sweet!! I'm glad they make sense to another Disney person.

Well, back from a lovely date night. I had a margarita (in honor of national margarita day, of course) and a glass and a half of a delicious Gewurtztraminer. :goodvibes. Now it's a tall glass of water x 2. ::yes::

I didn't know it was National Margarita Day. :(

Jen, Wookie, Dani - everyone loved what I picked for them. I love that DH lights up when I get him his Jack Skellington stuff. We were talking to our friends about our trip and I really think it's gonna be great! :thumbsup2

I love Jack Skellington stuff!! Have y'all heard the Nightmare Revisted CD? I like it better than the original stuff.

Here's a couple of the shirts I got for the girls:

So cute!! I love Perry!! We watch Phineas & Ferb every morning.

Hope everyone is having a great night. I am so excited because tomorrow is the first Saturday with no basketball since the season ended last week. :yay:
Storm coming though...8-15 inches....:rolleyes2

WOO HOO!! Does that mean you get to sleep late?

Stay safe and warm.
You know, you don't have to be sooo selfish...keepin' all that snow to yourself....you could send some of it to us in Texas. :lmao:

I have reflux and it's terrible. I hate it. I find Prevacid works MUCH better than anything I've ever used.

I used to never get it. Then I had emergency gall bladder surgery when I was 23, a month after having JM. Sometimes, it's bad...like I have an acidy feeling in my nose bad.

I really did try to "bee" feed both my boys. They were just soo tiny. Joey was 4 lbs at birth and John 5 lbs. When the babies are that small and the "bee" are DDDs.....well I tried. I just gave up and pumped, so they would at least get the benefit. It was hard though, especially when Joey had to eat every 2 hours.

OMG you get major props from me! I hated my pump more than anything on gods green earth! I gave up pumping in September. I was only pumping at work at that point but I figured our supply was well enough established that I could sacrifice the two pumping sessions at work. She only drinks from the "tap" anyway. :rotfl: For the most part I love our nursing relationship but she is very demanding about it and sometimes it grates my nerves. Like if I am trying to get stuff done on the computer and she comes to me and throws my hands off the keyboard so she can pull my shirt up and have at it. Very annoying!!!
