Does anyone know how many outlets there are at CSR? Don't really want to carry a power strip with me but have quite a few things that will need plugging in. Thanks

Thank you. I figured with CSR having a convention center they wold have plenty but wanted to check first. Tell ur husband thanks too. :-)

Thx for the great updates. We will be staying at CSR in about 2.5 weeks and will update on the resort as a whole and over the Bus Class Rms and Lounge.

I've never stayed at Coronado, but the pictures I keep seeing of it are beautiful! I am really starting to consider it for our September trip.

My two children will love the Dig Site pool. What rooms would be best to be close to the Dig Site? But I guess we would also want to be close to the food court too. Any suggestions?

The Dig Site is across the lake from the food court. We've always preferred Casitas 4 or 5 or Cabanas 8A. Casitas 4 or 5 take about three minutes to the main building and about six minutes to the Dig Site; Cabanas 8A is a very short walk to the Dig Site and a five minute (if that) walk across the bridge to the main building.

for the quiet pool by the fitness center, does anyone know how far it is from end to end? I swim for fitness and was wondering if it was 25 yards across.

Thanks!

All of the pictures I've seen of the rooms just have a desk in them instead of a table with two chairs, like in most other rooms. Are there ANY rooms with tables or do all of them have desks? I really like the look of Coronado Springs, but since we would be eating breakfast some in the room and will have 5 and 6 year old kids, I don't know how eating cereal would go without a table for both of them to sit at. I hate for that to be a reason why we don't choose this resort, but I think it may be. I would love it if it were just DH and I, but I don't know if the room would work for my family. :( Has anyone else missed not having a table for meals in the room?

We just checked out today. It was really a great place to stay. My boys took turns sitting at the desk to have breakfast. It worked out fine. I wouldnt let that change your mind. There are so many positives. We loved having two queen beds instead of the double beds at the other moderates.

While I am not sure if CBR has upgraded yet, POFQ and POR have queen beds. They got rid of the doubles during their last refurbishments! :thumbsup2

The Values do still have the doubles.

When we were there last (about 3 years ago), there was a table with two chairs in our room. Have they gotten rid of that?

Oh, it would be great if they did have a table and chairs! All of the pics I've seen just have a desk with one chair. But I don't know if the pics I've seen are old or if they have changed the rooms from tables to desks in the past few years.

I do believe they have changed this. There's a desk and like some little ottoman but don't let that shake you. I was just on another board where a mom said her sons sit on the edge of the bed and she adjusts the ironing board to the right height for them to use as a breakfast table There are always ways to find table space but you can't get a queen bed or a pyramid pool just anywhere. :)

Pictures from earlier this month. This was a 2-Queen room in Cabanas 9B. I don't know if a King room would have the table and 2 chairs, but I would think it's unlikely.

Wow, that is a great idea! I had previously taken CSR off of my list because of the lack of table, but I started looking at pictures of the resort and the Dig site and I became a lot more interested in the resort. The pool looks fantastic! Looks like I may have to add another resort into my consideration now, as if I didn't already have too many options, lol.

For those of you at CSR right now, I'm wondering if it's busier b/c of the Princess half expo?!?!? Considering staying there for next years race, just wondering if having the expo there is making it more crowded?

The table and chairs were removed when the rooms were refurbed in 2007. We always eat breakfast in our room, though, using the desk and the ottomans.

I missed the table too. When we were there we pulled the ottoman up to the desk beside the chair. It worked for us. We really liked the pool and preferred it to the CBR pool. the CBR pool seemed quite a bit smaller and thus more crowded

I'm trying to decide if I should ask for Casitas 4 or 5, or Cabana 8A or 8B.

It looks nice that Casitas 4 is near the health club(we will probably use it), a large quiet pool and the first bus stop. None of these choices look so so far away from the main pool.

On the other hand the Cabanas look nice since they are only 2 stories high and we wouldn't have to wait around for elevators. Am I correct that the hammocks are in the Cabanas area (DD is looking forward to relaxing on a hammock). Do they have hammocks in the Casitas also?

We've only stayed in mods that had just 2 floors, so didn't have to wait around for elevators. Is that much of an issue there? I hate hotels where we're waiting for elevators every time we want to go someplace.

:beach:It was your picture of the sangria that caused me to upgrade to business class room for my trip in September. Last trip was at POP and while it was a fine resort (some of the guests were another story) I have always stayed at a moderate in the past. I am hoping for the deluxe feel at a moderate price! How did you find the busses? Did you walk to the bus stop at El Centro or farther to the one for the cabanas? I felt like I stood on every bus ride at POP and trying to avoid that! LOL :rotfl2:
