Oh no. I hope you have a generator.
Nope, and all electric to boot.

About an hour from you in Bloomington. Looks about the same. But I will believe the snow when I see it. Last time they said 2-4" and we barely got a dusting. Kids are really wanting some snow!!!! (And so am I!!! Then it can be 50 degrees two days later!)

Between being without power with ice storms and hurricanes, having a generator is the *best* insurance we've ever had Have our home wired to just flip a switch, then plug the generator in and have set number of lights, outlets, etc. Also powers our fridge, freezer, and well.
We've been without power so many times that we got tired of losing all our refrigerated stuff, and not having water. Now, at least we don't have those issues to worry about.
South part of metro kansas city, on kansas side.
12 inches so far. Got an automated call from the city telling everyone to stay home and off the streets unless an emergency. Me, I am staying in where it is warm!
DH got stuck coming home from work about 1 mile from home and took him 4 hours to get out. Ended up parking car in parking lot of grocery store and getting a ride home as our car wouldn't not clear the snow on the street where we live. Still not plowed.
I had to shovel a path for our dachshund to be able to go to the bathroom.
Just coming out of a lull where nothing was happening for about half an hour. Starting up again. DW says the power is out at home
Hope your power comes back soon!!
Here in Champaign-Urbana, we're expecting 2-4 inches and some ice. It's supposed to begin sometime this afternoon and continue into the night, but right now it's just cloudy and rather ominous looking.
What's it like where you are?
