CSR bus stops

I see there are 4 bus stops for this resort. If we are heading into the parks in the morning (to arrive in time for park opening) how likely are we to get a seat if we catch the bus at the 4th stop outside of el Centro? We are going May 16-22.

The 4th stop ? ... I am not sure what # they are. but the bus stop at El centro (closest to building 9B Cabanas) is the best spot for pickup. 2 reasons. In the morning, when empty buses are coming in, its actually the first pickup spot. Later in the day, its the last drop off, spot, but also first pickup.

When the bus comes in from a park, it skips the El Centro stop, hits all the others, hits the El Centro last.

Generally speaking, the bus was always empty when getting it at El Centro ....

I though the El Centro stop in the morning was the last one. I thought it picked up in this order: Casitas, Ranchos, Cabanas, El Centro. Am I wrong?

I think you are wrong, (but i COULD be wrong, just talking from my experience)

Bus stop 1 in the morning, first stop. Empty busses pulling up and picking up .

I know this was the case February 2012, we were in Cabanas 9A ... walked over first thing every morning to an empty bus never waited more than 15 mins.

During our June 2012 stay the order was exactly as you have it. I can tell you that there were quite a few times the bus was completely full and we did not even stop at #4 in the morning because we were past standing room only. I am not a CSR expert. Maybe pose this question on the CSR thread.

Did some quick searching and a couple places on the Net say the exact same thing, so perhaps I really am wrong. But I also double checked with my wife (since she will be the first to tell me when I am wrong :) ) and she also confirmed that, in the mornings, we were getting fresh busses coming in the main entrance and straight to bus stop one, then going around the resort.... Empty busses first thing in the morning ... that was Feb 2012

I can also confirm that our return trips were as posted, we skipped El Centro, hit 4, 3, 2, and then ended at stop 1 ....

Not sure if the morning works differently or not.

The theme park buses go in the order of stop #2-Casitas, stop#3-Ranchos, stop #4-Cabanas and stop #1-El Centro is last. Downtown Disney Buses go in the order of #1-#4. That way you can hop on a bus from stops 2,3,or 4 to get to El Centro, then to get back to your builing you get on a Downtown Disney bus at El Centro then off at your stop.

I've stayed at CSR eleven times and this is the order I've experienced every single trip also.

I just found this on the CSR FAQ thread:

CSR has 4 conveniently located bus stops, one in each of the villages and one at the main building. None of the buildings is far from a bus stop.

The ranchos are the furthest from the main building (about a 10-15 minute walk). Theme park buses stop last at the main building, so Ranchos guests can get on any theme park bus and exit at the main building. DTD buses stop at El Centro first, so this tactic does not work with DTD buses.

Theme park bus stops go in this order:

The bus stops are:
Bus Stop 2: Casitas
Bus Stop 3: Ranchos
Bus Stop 4: Ranchos and Cabanas
Bus Stop 1: El Centro

DTD and Exit buses

The bus stops are:
Bus Stop 1: El Centro
Bus Stop 2: Casitas
Bus Stop 3: Ranchos
Bus Stop 4: Ranchos and Cabanas

The bus stops at CSR are #1 - El Centro, #2 Casitas, #3 Ranchos and #4 Cabanas. When going to and from the parks, the buses stop at #2 first, then #3, #4, then finally #1, which is the El Centro stop. For Downtown Disney, the order is 1,2, 3 and 4.

The El Centro stop can get very crowded, particularly in the morning during busy weeks. We stayed in cabana 9A in May a couple of years ago and usually got on the bus at the El Centro stop. We never had to stand, but it is certainly possible if you are trying to make rope drop along with many others.

The only time we have ever stood on a bus for CSR is leaving MK after Wishes.

If there is a convention during your stay, the buses will be less crowded as some guests will be going to the convention center instead of the parks during the day.
