Carry on bags after arrival?

Do you store them with resort baggage service after you check in?
Also what about your laptop and iPads? Is it safe to leave those? I really do not want to lug those around at EPCOT.

We've left our electronics (ipad, laptop) with bell services while waiting for our room. I always bury them in a locked suitcase and we've never had a problem. I know it's a risk, but I figure if I stick them in one of our big suitcases they wouldn't be as easy to steal.

I always leave them with bell services in a backpack. Call me crazy but I also tell them they are in there... I figure it's hard for someone to make off with my stuff if everyone knows what's in the backpack!

I know it's Disney and all, but I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving my laptop. Is it likely anything would happen? No. But I would never want to take that (teeny tiny) chance. This is also why I don't travel with these things.

I would put them in locked luggage. Better to be safe than sorry.

We are taking ME and are not going to pick our luggage up ourselves. I think I will just bring a lock for my carryon and while we are standing in line to check in I will lock the laptop (if we bring it) and the iPads in that carryon bag. I may also just disclose that they are there when we hand them over to bell services. I sort of feel like NHKristy76 does about letting them know its there making it harder for it to be stolen. Not really sure why but anyway I think this is what I will do.
Thanks to you all for your help:)

At the DISNEY resorts IF YOU TELL THEM they store valuables in a locked cage and you need to sign for them when you get them back from bell services.

So, I have left both my iPad and my laptop with bell services at Disney. Is the the safest thing to do? Probably not. But as long as I watch them tag the bags, I just deal. I figure I have to trust the employees not to be thieves and they certainly don't want to make a mistake. If there were lots of problems with this, I'm sue this board would have heard about it and Disney would have addressed the problem. I'm sure things go missing on occasion from hotel rooms, bell, services, and cars in lots at Disney like everyplace else, but I'm pretty confident the rate is pretty low. I figure its safer at bell services than in a car or with me Ina park where I might set it down and forget when I walk away.
