DISDad's Locker Room - The place for Sports Talk

I liked the Clark Kellogg comment. Smooth as a baby's bottom and just as explosive. :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

That would be the typical IU basketball/ND football fan in Indiana. :rolleyes1

So much to say here :rotfl2: I do root for Butler, Valpo, all of the other Indiana schools.......just not Purdue

Hoosiers still #1 even though they lost. :confused3

I still hate Laettner. Best UK t-shirt.

I was shocked they are still at the top. The tournament is going to be full of surprises :thumbsup2

Going to be tough to pick a good bracket this year.

This will be one of those years that the person who picks based on team color or mascot cuteness had a legitimate shot.

I'm letting the kids pick it. They'll have a better shot than I will. Probably pick by mascot.:headache:

Looked like my Jayhawks finally got back on track last night against K-State. I don't understand what's happened to Elijah Johnson - he had a great NCAA tournament run last season, started strong this season, then just sort of fell apart. But Naadir Tharpe stepped up big time against K-State. Now we find out whether Tharpe can continue to keep it under control and be a point guard solution going forward, or whether he goes back to being a loose cannon.

Hey Aaron. Saw some of that game. It looks like so many teams have top players, but they are inconsistent. Kind of why the rankings are all over the place near the top. I think sometimes it just clicks for certain players. Tharpe looks like that type of kid where he can build on this one. Good luck. I need to decide who to root for this year. None of the NE teams are a factor, as usual.

Norm, did you see the game last night? Florida looked good beating up the Wildcats. Can't explain the loss to Arkansas a couple of games ago but that may have been a hiccup on the way to an SEC Championship.

Edited to add: Was really sorry to see Noel get hurt. Hopefully it isn't as bad as it looked.

Hoping my Illini keep this streak going and pay Purdue back for that game earlier this year. Can DJ Byrd just sit this one out please?

Huge loss for UK with NN going down

Not sure if they have announced the diagnosis, but sure looked like a patella injury to me. I remember it well from 14 months ago.:headache: Hopefully not as that is 6-9 months minimum. Still trying to get all the way back.:worried:

Saw on ESPN that Noel tore his ACL and is out for the year. Feel bad for the kid. Not Calipari though.

Well said. :thumbsup2 :rolleyes1

Wonder if another freshman big man putting up similar numbers on a worse team might get a little bit of respect now though...

He should.....but he won't. The kid from UCLA has been talked about today as NN replacement as the #1 overall pick. :(

The whole state is in mourning.

Anyone watching the NBA All Star game? I know there won't be any defense, but the offense will be fun to watch.
